My wife likes the pack, says its comfortable. Big enough to hold all her "essentials" and then some for a shorter trip and still big enough to carry the REAL essentials for longer trips. Great construction, high Quality, everything you would expaect from Osprey.

"Basically awesome." 		          09/25/08
I broke my pack in by backpacking in the Catskills in NY on a 3 day backpacking trip to begin with. (I hadn't gotten it molded to me yet, so that may be why), but my hip bones and shoulders hurt real bad the first two days, and then started to get better. The only thing I would really change about this pack is the fabric of the shoulder straps. I can't wear this pack while I have a tank top on, because the fabric chafes my skin in a painful way. But with short sleeves on, this Ariel pack is all I dreamed for. Perfect amount of room for all your stuff, but not so much room to give you the opportunity to overload yourself. You should get it!!

I just love this backpack. Yeah! it fits and it is really comfortable. I tried it out on a 13 mile backpacking trip round trip and it worked out beautifully. Enough room for everything I needed. No soar shoulders or hips.

"Big Bag, Light Bag, Great fit!" 		          05/25/08
On the quest for a larger capacity backpack that doesn't weigh more than five pounds, I found the ariel 75. I have to say I am mostly thrilled with it. I am only worried about the water bottle holders, I don't find them very acessable while hiking, and fabric seems really streched. I will look for skinnier water bottles. Meanwhile, I will use the hydration system. I just took a hike in Yosemite, and this bag had room for everything, even my bear canister! I look foward to taking it to Mt. Whitney this fall. "Compensated for the junk in my trunk" 		          05/15/08
I have been eyeing this pack for many months before I finally went for it. I was hesitant in part because I have a medium-length torso and a tush that could only be accomodated by a large hipbelt. I didn't think any online company would be willing to take care of a special order like this, but a chat with LiveHelp proved me wrong!!! The weight of this pack and its ease of adjustment have made me one very happy camper. Everyone loves Osprey, everyone loves Moosejaw, and now I know why.

"Top of the Line for Active Adventerous Women!" 		          03/05/08
I ordered my Osprey Women's Ariel 75 Pack just a few weeks ago, and within days arrived at my home. I loved the way it looked the second I saw it, and trying it on it was a perfect fit, easy adjusting and comfortable back panel was awesome. I took it home through things in all pockets and took a hike and from start to finish I could not complain. It was so light and I stayed comfortable with no excess pressure and no adjusting. The design and build of the pack is sturdy and sustainable for a long time. I cant wait to take it to California in a month and really try her out! Ill give details upon my return...

"Nice backpack, reasanoble price improved from last year" 		          11/26/07
Bought the second one for our family - since I belive that it is the best we could find for the reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprized with the improvments. Pros Weith, price - to- quality ratio, comfort and overall design. Cons belive that the design could be improved. But still the backpack with best or close to the best overall design.

I used it all around Mexico for a summer. It was big enough to hold all of my stuff, but not so huge that I had to pay extra for the wieght on the plane. If you take your pack to a dealer they will mold your hip belt for you, which helps with the weight.

"Worth the money!" 		          05/07/07
My wife hasn't used it yet. We got it mainly for a lengthy trip through Europe and Asia this summer. She is taller than most girls and it fits her really well. She loves the design and the amount of space she has to pack for a long overseas trip. Getting around in Europe and Asia is so much easier with a pack. I'll give an update of how well it holds up through all that travel.

What can I say, Osprey makes in my opinion the greatest bags. I got this for my wife, who just wore her old one out, wont say who made that one, and I thought I'd surprise here with this one. Storage, design, lightness, everything about this bag is fantastic. I'm quite happy with my own personal bag, but its making me want to make a future investment in the male version for me!<BR>Plus she doesnt mind carrying the few extra oz now that she cant feel it!
