"Killer tablet bag"  04/02/12

Purchased this bag to carry my android tablet and a few items needed for city journeys. Using a full size laptop bag was overkill and this fits a 10.1 tablet just fine. Plenty of room to throw in some extra items. I am 6'5" tall and the strap is just long enough to be comfortable. Design is killer and the use of recycled materials is a big plus.

"Perfect 24/7 bag. Technical but not geeked-out. Organized and roomy but compact."  02/03/12

+ multiple sized pockets with different design functions+comfortable as shoulder bag, but grab and go handle for when running from car to bar+waist belt option is not bother b/c padding light and doubles as pocket, and straps tuck in+the bag is light despite these plush detailsOnly gripe: why the zipper covers? The pack is not waterproof and they are in the way, especially with getting into the outside front pocket. (Of course, you can carefully cut slants along the cover insertion point and seal the fabric with some flame but don’t hold me responsible if you mess up your bag.)

"Great!"  11/13/11

I really like this pack. I have been looking for a pack like this for a while. It was really well made and roomy without a lot of bulk. I really like that it fits a bunch of stuff and is not a huge bag. I use this as a purse/carryall. Its perfect for all your essentials and water too. I like all of the pockets that help to keep my stuff organized. Its very sturdy. I imagine I wont need a new one for a very long time.

"Greatest IPad hauler ever!!!"  10/20/11

My son calls it Dads man purse, but I explain the apple not falling far from the tree story, and he retracted his goofy statement. Seriously it carries an IPad perfect, along with all the other important stuff. The waist belt and biking fit together perfectly. The only swinging done with this bag is chicks digging Dad's Eurocentric style. Thanks Moosejaw an old man became cool for a millisecond.

"Lots of pockets, lots of style"  12/23/10

This bag is great because it's light weight, has a padded strap and an extra strap that secures it around my waist so it doesn't slide around when bending over to pick something up. I was looking for a new shoulder bag that would flop around when I had it full. And this is it! There are a ton of pockets, which is great for staying organized, but sometimes I forget which pocket I put something in. But the cellphone pocket is essential on all bags. The bag is slender in that it doesn't stick out far from my body. I can easily fit my book and notebook in it. I purchased this bag as an everyday bag, but also because I thought it would be great to use a boarding bag for flights.

"Good pack"  12/12/10

Useful travel pack. Velcro closure on front flap is noisy and lame. Put a simple clip on the next version Osprey...

"It was a gift but now it's mine!"  11/29/10

Really! I bought this last weekend for my daughter for Christmas. But I have decided to keep it. Its totally cool. It hands in just the right way..the padded straps are comfortable and there is a lot of room in the bag itself. Not to mention the cool color...I got the orangeish one. Very nice. Now, I will need to get another for my daughter!

"Excellent all around bag, the best feature being the stow-away waist strap."  10/09/10

My biggest gripe with shoulder bags in general is that they fling around when I bend up and down, and weigh heavily on my neck when carrying 3-5 lbs, even when worn across the body, in both situations. This Osprey bag solves both problems with the waist strap. The strap keeps the bag from swinging around and unloads some of the weight onto my hips. The only negative is that the strap is not fully adjustable, although the quick-adjust buckle is wonderful. In the larger version of this bag, the strap is too long for my 5'4 107lbs frame, although I need the cargo capacity. . Wish it comes in one-tone version.

"Great size, handy pockets and not too bad looking!"  10/07/10

Got for a vacation to carry the "day trip" essentials. Works as small day pack for hike, bike, run or can use as carry-all bag for work or running around town. Many pockets of different sizes in handy locations. Put my cell phone in the strap pocket (made for MP3)... very handy, easy and quick to get to. 18 oz Klean Kanteen fits perfectly into side mesh pocket. Small top zip pocket handy for keys, easy to reach and can't "sink to the bottom"! Shoulder strap adjusts shorter, more secure (run/hike) using waist straps or tuck waist straps into back slots to wear it longer on hip/low back if you are just running around town.

"Perfect urban daypack for traveling"  06/27/09

Took a trip to Europe recently and wanted to just take just one backpack and a pretty small daypack, to carry everything I'd need during the day in the cities. This was the perfect size for carrying all my maps, books, camera, small umbrella, sunglasses, cell, ipod - but amazing small to handle all that and not bulky. Good comfort and barely noticed that I had it on me given the over shoulder, hipbag style. Smart placement of compartments, plus it was a great looking bag.

"The right man-bag for the right dude"  10/08/08

Pros:Compact in size, unique design, useful pocket configuration, waist belt is completely removable Cons: The strap isn't long enough for larger users (over 6 ft. 200+lbs.),the strap can not be extended beyond the factory max. length w/o significant alterations, the strap's neck padding is not adjustable and only hits the "right spot" if you're the perfect size, strap's cell phone/mp3 pocket is not removable and may not fit your model player/phone, stitching prevents front flap from opening 100%,front zipper pocket is deep but opening is small (hard to reach change at the bottom.)Other:Designed to be worn on the right side
