"This light cover is easy to put on, and stow away." 05/24/13

Most Osprey packs come with raincovers. I use this cover as a 2nd layer to help keep my pack dry. I used it while treking across Spain,and really put it through it's paces. An easy recomendation to add to your pack.

"Better than a trash bag" 12/04/12

I hiked for 700 miles on the Appalachian Trail this past summer and I was always glad to have the rain cover for my Osprey pack. Fellow hikers laughed that their trash bag was cheaper-true. But this kept the pack dry and was very compact and light when I wasn't using it. The trash bags did not keep the packs dry. The drawstring and snap across the back of the pack work like a charm. I even snagged a hole in it when I threw it over a rock face, but I sewed it up and it still works as good as new.

"Nice to have" 10/10/12

Keeps your packs dry. For the price of ospreys, I think it should be included on all of their packs already...but this is a nice one and will work well for keeping your gear dry on a rainy day.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Osprey, did you expect any less?" 06/01/12

I'm of the belief that Osprey manufactures some of the highest quality packs in the world. I was aghast when I received my Talon 44 and noticed it did not come with a rain cover. This issue needed to be amended. So I got online and put $40 away for this cover. It is a bit expensive. But it is well worth it for keeping my pack and all the goodies within dry. It packs down nice and tight into a small easily stow-able pouch and comes in 4 different sizes. This means you can protect everything for your "biking buddy" Talon 22 to the ends of the earth with your expedition powerhouse Argon 110. A necessity for all Osprey backpackers.

"It straight works" 03/18/12

Nothing too profound to say about this piece of gear other than it's effective. And fits perfectly on my osprey aether 60. I took it on the AT and used it everyday. It shed water like a champ!

"Great Rain Cover!" 02/20/12

I bought this to go with my Aether 60. Fits like a jem! Plus it folds into itself for a nice little carrying case. Easy to throw on while the pack is on too. LTM!

"Overall this is a great pack cover, keeps things dry, but a bit overpriced..." 01/03/12

The pack cover has worked well both while carrying my pack in the rain and while covering the pack at a campsite overnight. The large size is big enough to cover my Osprey Aether 70 with a therm-a-rest strapped on the back, and has enough extra room to wrap up the (mostly empty) pack at night to save room in your tent or vestibule. The cover packs very small and is light weight. It's a tight fit to stuff the cover, but it has held up well through a couple years and several trips. If you care about brand this is a good option, but if not, you can get comparable stuff cheaper (you are paying for the Osprey brand name here).

"Gets the job done" 12/19/11

It's a little pricey for what it is. I got the medium for my Atmos 65 and it fits well. Keeps your pack dry. Does the trick!

Osprey packs are bad@!#, but I needed one of these for my Atmos 65. Fits great, no regrets. Essential piece of my kit.

"Great to have" 11/30/11

If you are going to fork out a lot of money for an Osprey product, than a little extra won't hurt. Fits securely around your pack. I have the 85L backpack and it fits great and it will give you confidence that your stuff won't get wet.

I use my Osprey Talon everyday. I use it to carry my gym gear, my ipad2, ipod, mags, headlamp, camera, HD hero, etc... you get the picture. It goes everywhere with me.When I travel, I use it as my backpack. I go on a lot of Mission trips and the full functional Talon meets all of my Travel needs!Since the Talon is not waterproof this essential rain cover is a must.You can not go wrong with any Osprey product.

"MUST GET THIS!!!" 08/18/11

I arrived in Venice and was welcomed by pouring rain. I did not want to spend money on taking a boat because it still would not get me close enough to my hostel so I put on my Osprey UL Raincover and pulled out my map and began my trek. If I did not have this cover all of my things would have gotten soaked. I roamed the streets and canals for almost two hours before I found my hostel, and my back pack did not get wet at all thanks to my Raincover!! This is a must have for any avid backpacker!!
