"A great multi-use pack!" |
12/02/09 |
| For light-weight desert hiking, this pack is the only one I will take. It is very light, and the pack has enough room for a sleeping bag for overnight treks. The large front pocket is good for water bags, and the AirScape back panel keeps your sweaty back pretty cool. Also, the slim design helps you when you need to navigate in tight spots like canyons and when you're bouldering. | |

| This is my 3rd pack out of the "Talon" series (i also have the 22 & 5) and hands down they are the bees-knees of packs! Fits like a glove and light as a MOFO! The construction & functionality of the pack is superb! Kudos to Osprey for a job well done. | |

"Perfect for a 10 day hike" |
07/07/09 |
| I have used this pack as an alternitive to my Osprey Cressent 60. Sleeing bag, clothes, food for 10 days added up to 13 kilos. It was absolutly perfact. The pack is still very comfortable to cary, and it is a lot less clumpy when having to "jump" over rocky terrain. And the best, it is even lighter than most "day-packs". My companions used Osprey Cressent 75 (day-pack Solo) and my Osprey Cressent including the Daylight. The Talon 44 weighs even less than the Daylight, and is a lot more comfortable to cary. I can only fully recommend this pack. | |

"You won't be disappointed!" |

| This pack is awesome. It is lightweight, has an extremely comfortable fit, and I was easily able to fit all my gear for a 3 day trip up in Northern Michigan. The rip-stop material is a lot stronger than I expected-- you can pack this thing tight! I couldn't help but notice that chicks were staring me down when I wore this pack. I even had a female DNR officer pass me by on a trail and try and make-out with me... not really but she thought about it! Good thing she didn't, because my fiance would've ninja-kicked her in the face!!! | |

"great pack, lots of storage options, fully adjustable for comfort." |

| we were really excited to receive our moosejaw recycled box, and even more so when we opened it to find these stylish, fuctional packs. love the stickers in and out of the box:) and the packs were high on our list too. i love the adjustability of the sternum strap, hip belt, and shoulder straps. made for a perfect fit for me!! lots of storage pockets and loops to hang things from, like a moosejaw flag .:)haven't field tested yet..but we will hopefully hit the mountains next month, and we will let you know the results. | |

| Great SIZE for my short backpacking trips. very organized. many pockets for my little nick-nacks. I cant wait to use it for the first time. The fit is also great. I'm six foot, and have trouble finding women specific gear. no problemo here. colors are unisex and size is too | |

"Dump those 4lb packs and step up to a light weight pack." |
09/24/07 |
| I spent 2 weeks in Yosemite, and Kings Canyon/Sequoia hiking 135 miles. Some early snow to 90 degree heat, whether slack packing or an all day long trek the pack did well. When the pucker factor got high on the Watchtower, I just snugged the pack tight and took in the sights. The pack did not show any wear even after being punished from constantly rubbing up against the granite canyon walls. The pack rode well when carrying up to 20 lbs. And it cinched down well when you only needed to haul some water and lunch. The pack has this snap closure by the hydration storage area. It came in very handy... I hung my slr camera on it, so the weight of the camera was on the pack an not around my | |
