It’s pretty much impossible to over pack and overload yourself with the Osprey Talon 4 Lumbar Pack. This lumbar pack has all of the same durable construction and comfortable padding of a larger pack, but sits around your waist without weighing your shoulders down. Two water bottles are included and leave you with no excuse but to stay hydrated. Your hips don’t lie: they know they’d look awesome sporting this pack. Don’t pretend you’re too sophisticated for Shakira references.

"handy pack" 06/06/11

this pack is great at keeping the weight of your pack to reduce sore shoulders and sweatyness. compartment are well sized to carry all necesities and you can even strap your coat onto the out side. Only thing i think could be improved was the size of the water bottles provieded (under 500ml each), but you can always use your own, the pockets fit a nalagene in just about, although you need to make sure both sides are balanced. I usually combine with a hydration bladder when I need to carry more water.
