"The Osprey Products are top quality products that you can use on an Adventure or for everyday use!" 10/14/11

I use my Osprey Talon everyday. I use it to carry my gym gear, my ipad2, ipod, mags, headlamp, camera, HD hero, etc... you get the picture. It goes everywhere with me.When I travel, I use it as my backpack. I go on a lot of Mission trips and the full functional Talon meets all of my Travel needs!If i was rating this on a 10 antler scale, I would give it a 9. The only reason is that the pack is NOT water or weatherproof and you have to purchase a rain cover to protect from the elements. It would have been nice that the rain cover was built in and you just pulled out and covered. Minor thing but that is why a 9.You can not go wrong with any Osprey product.

"Perfect for long runs, XC skiing, and snowshoeing" 02/01/11

I'm training for a spring marathon...in Cleveland (We're talking single digit temps, but don't feel too bad for me. I'm a teacher, and today we had a snow day). I was looking for a light-weight pack that I could take on the trails or on the road for my longer runs. On days like today, I stash an extra pair of gloves, a camera, and a trail map in the main pocket (plenty of room for more, though). My keys, chapstick, and snack fit perfectly in the pockets on the harness and belt, and my i-Pod clips on safely. The pack stays put while I run, and everything stays nice and dry. It's also great for snowshoeing, XC skiing, and (literally) running errands around town.

"Favorite piece of gear" 12/08/10

I've had this pack for two years and it's by far my favorite piece of gear I own. Pros: zipper pulls (they're awesome), hip pockets, great side pockets for water bottles that are accessible while hiking, elastic in the back comes in handy, and for the most part it's waterproof. Not to say that you should trust it entirely (especially electronics), but my extra clothes and food stayed dry through several downpoursCons: the only complaint I have was I wish there were more gear loops on this pack. I use this bag to stash my climbing gear and the only place to biner on my shoes is the elastic on the side meant for an ice ax/trekking poles.

"thrilled with my new osprey pack" 09/12/10

Using this pack makes me wish I had the whole Talon series.Small, light, comfy and just enough room to put the hydration pack, a small camp stove with fuel bottle, dehydrated food and one pot. This is the best pack for a hot lunch on a hiking trip. bungy on the back makes taking a pot much easier.Fits up to 3L hydration which was great.

"Great Pack." 08/16/09

I needed a pack for quick dayhikes and little excursions in the woods. This seemed to fit the bill and has worked great. The hydration sleeve is very acommodating and the straps are nice for keeping a hoody close at hand. Also, the straps have little compartments on them that fit a cell phone/ipod nicely.

"Sweet, lightweight pack" 04/25/09

So I needed a pack to replace my camelbak. Like my Osprey 22 the 11 is super lightweight and great for short excursions and sprint adventure racing. The only downside is that unlike the 22, this pack does not adjust for torso length and fits like my camelbak MULE--too short. Even Osprey's web page stated torso length was adjustable. So, sweet pack if you aren't 6' tall.
