I love this little pack. Little may be an under statement; it'll hold alot of stuff. The suspension system is not only EXTREMELY breathable(I live in Deep South), but is like a therapy for my back. Something about the way it fits w/16-20# in it; I can hike w/no pack and be in great pain; this little jewel helps solve that problem. Raincover is nice too.
This pack has a lot of nice features and is great for dayhiking or traveling. However, the pack is actually quite smaller than the picture leads you to believe. The air vent in the pack is a great feature but the curved shape of it makes it hard to shove anything inside the compartment. I'm now only planning to use this for dayhikes and maybe some peak bagging in the dead of summer. Overall, it is a great pack despite the size... you can't go wrong with an osprey pack.
I find that this is a great day pack for long days where you are in charge of a lot of people. It fits a sizeable amount of stuff. I used it when I way hiking and nannying. I kept plenty of extra things just in case the little ones got tired and upset. ALSOThis is the perfect size for travelling. I use it for weekend trip to visit friends. It fits in the overhead compartment and it isn't as bulky as a rolling bag. Plus everyone looks at you like you are a badass.
"Awesome daypack. Has what I need and not a bunch of bells and whistles that I don't..."
This is a well made, very user friendly daypack. I have used this pack numerous times and I am pretty happy with it. The ventilation is awesome. The pack is very comfortable. I am Osprey all the way. Compliments my Aether and Argon well. If you want a solid, very well built no non-sense daypack snag one up. It handles my 3L bladder, filter, munchies, shell, and a few other goodies without a quibble.Oh, just wanted to say "no, this will not hold ya over for a 100+ mile thru hike." ...unless you are going to do the whole thing in 24hrs or less....
Truely an overnight pack. Arch for air is good but thats about it. Don't plan on an overnighter. Sleeping bag wont fit. change of clothes and poncho with liner, and sweater will fill this little guy up. Pockets are really tight with your bag stuffed.
"Not as big as the image leads you to believe."
This is truley a day pack. Don't plan on an overnight with this lil guy. Excellent idea putting an arch in the back for fresh air but no increase in pack size to accomidate this shape. Absolutely huge draw string at the top but the opening is about half the size. i wanted to use this for an overnighter and was extremely disappointed with load. 1 change of clothes, poncho w/ liner, camelbak, couple can goods = FULL. no sleeping bag, no tent.
"This pack is excellent for day hikes and medium distance runs."
I plan to hike the Grand Canyon rim to rim and back this May. I’m placing the upmost in confidence that this pack will be perfect for this task. It’s not the biggest pack around, but for its size I’m sure it will be able to store the essential items that I will need to get the job done. Jesse Valle
Hiked with a person once who complained about the 24 so I decided to go with the 26 and it's perfect. It fits anything i need and the arched back keeps my back from sweating like it does with any other pack. I highly recommend it.
