"Sweet Pack!" 11/19/12
I used this pack for the first time on a 9 hour snowshoe climb in Wyoming last Monday. (Visser Peak). It felt good on my back the whole hike. Plenty of space for my gear. And all the pockets are real handy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a day pack.
"This is my favorite pack" 10/05/12
I have several bags but as the title says this is my favorite of them all. It has tons of pockets on it including the waist belt and harness strap. It is an ultralight with a sleek and hugging design, which made me nickname if the parachute. It also has a handy rain cover included in a stowaway zipper pocket on the back.
"I love this bag!" 09/27/12
This is the absolute favorite of all my packs. I use it on a daily basis and it is so comfortable. The taxes into the system is excellent and I can easily carry it when It has a full load. There are tons of pockets including one main one above the head one back and two on the belt and one on the harness suspension strap. I mainly use this bag for every day use and my training pack And can comfortably carry it with a full load over long distances. The bag literally hugs your back like a parachute. The best endorsement that I can get for this bag is that I liked it so much I bought it in the Stratos 34 as well.
"Great fit even on a little lady" 07/12/12
I bought this for my wife, who's athletic but rather petite at under 100 lbs and not quite 5 ft tall. Needless to say, her size is always a challenge when something needs to fit right. She loves the Stratos 24! She takes it on every vacation (and everywhere else) and swears up and down that it couldn't be more comfortable. The pockets are great and all of the adjustable straps allow her to get the perfect fit for any activity, so carrying a load for a long time doesn't bother her back like with some other packs.
"Great Pack, Daily use or on a hike." 07/11/12
I bought this pack looking to replace a smaller pack I used a lot with the scout troop. So far it has been day hiking, over night, summer camp. and lugging my daily crap back and forth to the office. Great size for bringing jackets for the family unit and the two outside pockets are great. The belt pockets are perfect for the phone. The extra pocket on the shoulder strap is good also. As far as the fit, AWESOME! The Air Mesh keeps it off your back and even after lugging this thing through Animal Kingdom for a full day in June, no sticky sweat mark in the middle of the back. The final feature that sold me on this one is the packable rain cover. I am sold on Osprey .
"Great pack for day hikes or quick overnight hikes" 06/07/12
I bought this pack for some day hikes in CO this summer. When I got it in, I realized it would actually be big enough for a quick 1 or 2 overnight hike if your are an ultra light hiker. Very comfortable pack, great design
"Great bag for dayhikes, wish the mesh side pockets could hold a nalgene though..." 05/21/12
My favorite feature about this bag is the mesh on the back that allows air to flow between the bag and my back! It keeps me way cooler than my old backpack. The bag is well thought out and holds plenty for a day hike. There are a couple of small pockets so that you can keep your wallet and keys in a handy place, as well as buckles on the outside to strap a light jacket or poles to. The only thing that I think could have been done better is that the side mesh pockets are only large enough to hold a bottle the diameter of a soda can. Wouldn't be a problem if I used the camelback pocket (convenient), but I prefer water bottles.
"Comfortable, Comfortable, Comfortable" 03/26/12
I can't speak from years of experience with this pack (or any other for that matter), but I can say that as a beginning hiker who carries equipment for a family of 4 that includes a 5 & 7 year old, the Stratos is an excellent day pack. It is sooooooooo comfortable and cool, holds plenty of gear (for my use any way!), and functions better than I had expected...by far!

"My skiing backpack" 01/29/12
I use my Stratos 24 as my standard backpack when skiing, both down hill and cross country. It's thin enough that I don't need to take it off when riding the chairlift, and holds everything I need. The sturdy back board keeps my lunch from being completely crushed, and there is space for a hydration bladder or side pockets for water bottles. It's fairly weather resistant, and the straps adjust nicely. I'm really happy with how this pack stands up to the conditions I put it through.
"Light and comfortable" 10/03/11
My filtration system fits well in this. I like the two smaller pockets and one larger pocket. The bag is very light and comfortable. Carrying it around on a long hike I do not get sore or really notice it is there. The side pockets are somewhat far back but still usable if you are not a size 0. Overall, satisfied with this day pack. If I could change one thing, I would make it compactable so I could easily carry it in my frame pack.
"Awesome, light-weight pack" 09/25/11
I won't lie, I just got my pack in the mail yesterday. But upon opening the packaging, I threw in my gear and went off to a hike. The pack is extremely well made with many different components for every in kind of use (hiking poles, ice chipper, camel back, etc.). On my hike, I was impressed with the lightness of the pack and the comfort of it. The air movement was also awesome... not a lot of sweat dripping into the pack. It's the perfect size for a daypack or an overnight and get fit quite a bit of gear if packed well. Also, I'm 5'10 and the Large fits me really well. Get this pack! I can't wait to use mine again.
