"Great Bag for traveling" 01/16/11
I've used this bag twice so far, and every time have loved it. It's light and holds a lot of clothes and other accessories. The liquids compartment makes it easy to find your bath supplies when you get to the hotel or place of destination and the different compartments inside of it make it easy to organize your belongings. There are multiple handles, making it easy to pick up from any position. I also found that using the compartment for the backpack straps also can double for a dirty clothes area. The pullout handle seems to be made of top quality materials and feels very study.
"Gets stuff there with no worries." 10/25/10
My wife and both use these packs. Great bag! The airlines tried many times to destroy it, w/o success. Airport security tried to scatter my belongings by not rezipping it after inspections but, the design and compacting straps alone, kept things in. The handle and wheels took a real beating on rock paths and steps but, they remain good and solid. It is relatively light and easy to tote. I have only used the shoulder straps once for a short walk -worked fine.The colored interior made searching inside easier. And the exterior colors made finding it in a huge pile of luggage easy.No rips, tears, or holes. Just lots of scuffs (badges of honor, I guess).
"Versatile bomb of a bag" 01/26/10
Love the straps that let you pack this thing down. Wheels are sturdy. I've taken this badboy to the Caribbean and London. It has survived very well.Haven't packed it on my back yet but the construction is solid and I'm sure I'll take it backpacking.I recommend it for long backpacking trips (travel light!) or 1-2 week jaunts where you're not wearing it on your back.I continue to be amazed by it's capacity - it has surprised me by how much MORE stuff it can take.The clever little pocket on the back for an ID, and the little strap on the front for attaching another bag are awesome.
