OSPREY MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Please note that the info provided above refers to the torso size each pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are some steps for how to get your torso length. You should probably have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate. And they might accidentally touch your butt.

HOW TO MEASURE TORSO LENGTH:
• Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt.
• From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down.
• Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring.
• This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size charts above to find your ideal size.
• If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.

HOW TO MEASURE HIPBELT SIZE:
• Measure around your hips at your iliac crest, NOT your waist.
• A properly fitted hipbelt rides centered over the hipbones and needs to be very snug.
• The padded portion should wrap well around your hips, leaving a gap of 3 to 6 inches between the tips of the both hip pads when securely tightened.
• Refer to the Hipbelts size chart above to help determine your ideal Osprey pack size, but again, your torso length is what should determine your pack size, NOT the hipbelt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice stable hydration pack! This pack is great, and it's exactly what I was looking for. The fit of the Small/Medium fit me (a smaller framed lady) very well, and the straps are easily tucked away so they aren't flopping all over the place on a run. There was no movement from the pack at all once it was situated on my back, though there is sloshing noise from the water...But all in all this is a very well designed pack. There are a lot of extra pockets to carry energy chews, food, keys, etc - and the digi-flip is great for quick access to my phone. And best of all is the magnetic clip for the bite valve. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pack for trail runs I use this light pack for trail runs. I usually run between 10 to 20 miles. The pack stays tight to body. The water in the pack sloshes some, but it is liquid and there's only so much that can be done. The digi pocket is on the small side. My phone barely fits. I've removed the digi pocket since I don't look at my phone when I run, I wear a watch. It could fit a small gps device, but I'd make sure it does before buying. I'd love to see options for the digi pocket like another water bottle for longer runs or for a sports drink instead of water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Osprey Bought the Osprey rev 1.5 a month ago and love it. Love that the tube does not bounce around as it stays connected with the magnet. Love how comfortable the pack feels. In fact, I forget that I am wearing it. I like that it is small, but holds just enough stuff for me. The phone pocket is too small for the iphone 6, so I just use it to hold another snack or fuel and just keep my phone in the zipper pocket on the back. Also love that the bladder detaches easily from the tube making it easy to clean and refill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If all you need to make it up the trail is water and a bar, this is your pack. Love it. I wanted a hydration pack that held water plus a little fuel - no other bells and whistles - and this baby does exactly that. It is super light, you can take off the phone pouch if you're not into that kind of thing, and you can access whatever you have in the top pocket without taking off the pack.,,,,The best thing about this guy is the fit. You can adjust the straps a myriad of ways to get it sitting just right and once you do the bag doesn't bounce or swing around, even when you trip on a rock and send yourself flying. I put this pack to the ultimate test and wore it without a shirt and in addition to picking up some really awesome tan lines I made it back a few hours later without any chafing. ,,,,There's also that thing where Osprey guarantees their gear, which is the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great option for running I run for enjoyment. I do not do races. I've never run and so much as carried my keys with me let alone hydration, so I was a bit worried about how the Rev would feel on my back. Having used it on a few 3-4 milers it fells pretty good. The pack itself is small and flat, so it stays close to your back. The harness is really comfortable and wears like a vest. I was worried about hotspots and chaffing but neither were a problem. Ventilation on the back panel seems adequate. There is plenty of adjust-ability in the 4 straps and the keepers that hold the any strap slack are really nice. The digi-flip pocket is a nice feature. The zippered stash pocket on the back is small but has a key hook and enough room for a phone or camera, wallet and snacks. I found the bite valve to take a bit of effort, but water draw is good. The magnetic bit valve is great as is access to the bladder. Although the water sloshing in the bladder is very audible, you cannot feel it at all. RECOMMEDED!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could bebetter "Digi Flip" phone pocket is too small for my iPhone6, I removed it. Filling water bladder is too complicated. Suspension and comfort are fabulous. I was just wanting an alternative to my two water bottles and this will work.
