"The next time you hear: "You can bring only one bag" bring the Osprey React Daypack."  10/19/10

The React is comfortable for those big (broad shouldered man) & small (petite woman). The padded straps and back make the bag feel like it's not even there, while holding supplies for a long day trip or a short over-nighter.The React has large pockets that accommodate just about everything. (As a test I fit 30 16 oz. water bottles inside.) You can easily fit a lunch, water bottle, rain shell, camera, and laptop in the bag. The front pouch area contains two massive and separate areas accessed from the left and right zippers on the side.Overall, I recommend the React if you love day hikes, or if you need a bag to toot around town and look like you're ready for anything.

"Super Sweet!"  09/09/10

Yes! I received my pack today, it is incredible! Super sweet, and smartly located, pockets, nice water bottle holders, my MacBook Pro 15in (is the bomb*) fit's perfectly (as if it was a heaven sent MacBook glove), holds all my books and materials (including my stupid protractor!) I don't ever want to take it off (except maybe in the shower, but it did look nice on me in my bday suite.) Anyhow, love Osprey, this pack, and Moosejaw! LTM!*My MacBook is not a litteral bomb, it's just awesome!

"Great Day/School/Short Trip/Everything Pack"  07/07/10

I started off with atmos 65, I believe, which was a great pack, and used it extensively, and still now three years later I still have it. Osprey makes great packs that are equipped with a lot, and yet are still simple.Great Pack, Thanks Osprey.Your loyal customer

"Great pack for everyday adventures, and Moosejaw is the bomb"  11/03/09

Great pack. I got it in panda and love the color. I looked everywhere and tried many packs before picking this one out at the store and ordering at Moosejaw. Great customer service, and I will be ordering from the again soon!

"Great everyday/weekend/day pack."  07/06/09

I use this pack just about every day. Work, school, the trails, beach, airplane. Good all around bag. It's not huge so if you have a lot of thick books and notebooks to carry-maybe go for something larger. One thing I wish it had is a fully padded laptop sleeve, only the bottom of the compartment is padded. Overall I'm very happy with this pack.

"This backpack makes everyone jealous."  10/11/08

This pack rules. It's the perfect size for school books, clothes, or whatever else you want to put into it. It's not a huge pack, so no spine problems, but it's not tiny either. The shoulder straps are totally adjustable, so it fits anyone. 79% of it is recycled too, so it helps the environment. The blue is a great, gender-neutral color, and it goes well with pretty much anything. My son loves it, it was definitely a great purchase!

"great daypack!"  06/14/08

This is one awesome daypack. It's very light, seems durable, and holds a lot of stuff. I absolutely love the side mesh pockets that can each hold a liter water bottle enabling good fluid capacity on longer trips. For such a light pack I can put a TON of stuff in here. Also the outsidemost flexible pouch is great for a light jacket, extra clothes, etc. Overall this is a very well thought out product. My only complaint is that a sternal strap would really help for longer day hikes where one is carrying a lot of water weight. I may just fabricate one myself in fact.

"Great build quality and very light weight."  02/19/08

I originally bought a North Face Flint daypack. I was looking for something to carry when I took my kids ot the park, zoo, etc. The North Face was OK but I really like the lighter weight of this pack and the fact that Osprey uses a high content of recycled materials. It is a little smaller 1700 v. 1850 but I like the clean lines.

"awesome pack for girls...sans the nauseating colors."  02/04/08

love it...and i love that it's made out of recycled materials. the fit is great...great if you're thin...i kept trying on packs that were wider than my back...and any girls packs i found were in pink...gosh i hate pink. i miss having a chest strap though, that's the only downfall. lots of thoughtful pockets on the inside. like the laptop compartment, my climbing shoes fit perfectly in the very front pouch. it's great for school or for dayhiking. good size...i can definitely cram a ton of stuff in it if need be.
