The Osprey Raptor 18 Pack is a hydration pack that fits the essentials and the included 3 liter reservoir with ease. The magnetic quick bite valve attachment on the harness will make sure you don't miss a beat while keeping hydrated. An ideal size for everyday riding, this daypack provides streamlined organization with enough room for the important things, like snacks. Compression straps keep your load close and stable. The random bag of two dozen dinner rolls that is on the table in the kitchen right now could probably fit comfortably. An included built-in hipbelt and sternum strap can help transfer the weight and provide extra support. Enjoy increased ventilation for a comfortable ride with the AirScape suspension. Don't waste time stopping to unzip and unpack the bag to put your raincoat away or grab a quick snack: that's what the convenient shove-it pocket is for.

"Best Biking Pack Ever!"  04/22/11

This is by far the best bike specific pack out there. It has plenty of organized pockets and the stuff pocket is great for quick dismissal of an outer layer when needed. The hydration pack is great, water flows easily and the magnetic clip is ingenious! Perfect for the biking or hiking daytrip. The m/l fit perfect even with having broad shoulders and the compression straps make for a nice secure load. I have no real complaints about this pack and has out-performed my previous camelbak easily.

"Osprey Raptor 18 Pack-Awesome"  04/20/11

Okay, so I bought this for my husband. I don't get the whole hydration pack thing, maybe you are a wife who doesn't either, but move past that and get one for your husband always. He will look so cute running around with it on in the backyard sucking on the little straw thing (at least my husband does!). Let them play "survivalist" now and laugh a little, but just wait, maybe someday they will drag us behind them in a really survival situation and let us drink out of their funny water backpack. But seriously, it looks quite awesome and sturdy and he loves it!

"Great, versitile hydration pack for the hiker or the biker!"  03/23/11

I do quite a bit of hiking and mountain biking and this pack is top notch. I am still discovering storage space that I never new was there! I have pretty much ditched my day pack and use this for everything except overnighters. Depending on what you have in it, it can be a bit heavy for biking, but I have a big frame and have had no issues. I would advise the smaller folk to go with a smaller version. Loved it!

"Buy two; one for you and one for your lame friend who always cries about being thirsty"  09/07/10

The organizer pockets helped my granola bars from getting beat up by my multi-tool, and kept my camera by the opening for a quick deployment in case I ran across Bigfoot. I stuffed my rain coat into the stretchy shove-it compartment and I could barely tell it was there. The bio-stretch fabric truly is some cool stuff, it moves just like john Travolta no matter what your going for. All in all, it’s a pretty sweet backpack, but that not even including the hydra-form reservoir!!! I can honestly saw Osprey and Nalgene have taken to a new level... They have fixed literally every problem I have ever encountered with bladder systems.
