The Osprey Meridian Wheeled Convertible Pack is a travel bag that thinks it is a Transformer, because it sort of is. In a snap it can change from a sleek wheeled travel bag to a well-designed and comfortable backpack. Both styles are designed to be convenient and comfortable, making for an effortless transition from the airport terminal to the trail head. This bag also includes a detachable daypack for shorter excursions and day trips. The high-traction wheels feature sealed bearings, making them durable and ready to traverse any terrain. The stowable harness and hipbelt fit into a back panel to keep them out of the way and keep them at hand for when they're needed. This one can be your secret weapon against the Decipticons.

"Very versitile"  09/17/11

I used this suitcase when I went to Iceland (on the year that we ddint camp) and it;s really great! The backpack comes off really easily and the suitcase holds a lot!

"Really love the pack, very versatile and comfortable, very small downsides"  03/02/11

The pack is incredibly versatile, and in using it for small trips and one month-long behometh of a trip to Europe I used every version. The small backpack comes off easy and gives a lot of space with easy comfort. The wheels/pull handle on the main pack are definitely durable. The handles on the sides and top help out a ton for awkward carrying through trains, and teeny tiny hotels. Small downside: on the 1st day with some vigorous last minute packing, the zipper pulls (which looked industrial strength) pulled right off. Pulling the zipper without them really hurts the fingers, but overall the pack still weathered the trip fantastically, and I'd recommend it in a second.
