"Great school pack (of course it is, it's an Osprey), but maybe not perfect for you." 09/24/11
This is a fantastic pack for class and makes good use of the space it has. It's an Osprey, so of course you get the good quality, thoughtful construction, and ever useful water resistance. While its shape is great for books, laptops, and notebooks, it is conceivable that you will want more space. I can fit three of my law school textbooks along with my laptop and a couple of notebooks, and MAYBE a lunch and water bottle, but If I want four textbooks, that is all I can get in there.But hey, all it takes is a little fore-planning on those long days, and I can still be looking good in my beloved Osprey FlapJack.
"Love it" 03/10/11
It is a great pack for students or anybody that carries a laptop around. I have a 15" macbook and it protects and holds it nicely. The pockets are roomy and keep you organized. The side water bottle pocket is a a great feature. It is very comfortable to wear and won't hurt your back when hulling books around or even standing around at the airport when traveling. The interchangeable straps are nice and I like the fact that there are minimal zippers to break. The black color is nice and does not show dirt and whatever else I get on it. Anyway, it's a great pack. If your reading all of this your going to buy it anyway. Stop kidding yourself and just buy it.

I own several Osprey packs, and I think they are all very high quality, and this one is no exception. It is great for taking to class or work, it has a padded section to hold your laptop, and still has room to hold several books or a change of clothes. It has several pockets, including one on the side designed to hold a Nalgene bottle. It also has a waterproof flap that folds over the top to keep out any rain.
