"great fit, awesome pack"
          01/17/10
This pack purchase has been long overdue for me. I'm 6'0", 160 lbs, and a large fits my torso perfectly. The hip belt fits when snugged all the way down, so there's not much room for losing weight, but that's ok. I can't overstate how much of an improvement this is over my last, ill-fitting, heavy, clunker of a pack. in a word, thrilling.

This bag is super duuuperrr comfy. There is room for a couple people in the main compartment(not really). I suggest this bag if you tent to over pack for backpacking trips.

This is a great all around pack, for weekend to week long trips, rugged, and looks great. Plenty of room and versatility for all your gear. No comfort problems here.

"The Atmos 65 is as attractive as it functional."
          09/24/09
Opsrey’s “All Mighty Guarantee” is unmatched by any other Pack company I’ve ever dealt with. For that very reason alone you should get this pack. Unlike the previous Atmos series packs, ever belt and buckle is multipurpose and well concealed so you won’t have straps hanging ever which way. The pockets have become more purposeful and easier to access. It’s “airspeed ventilation” is honestly more show than anything else. I suppose you may notice a difference if you're hiking through a desert, otherwise it just looks cool. Unlike the 2004 Atmos packs, frame appears sturdier and flexible which is a HUGE plus, especially when your pack is thrown around a lot by airline baggage handlers.

"Love it"
          08/01/09
Sleek lines, sensible organization, and utility oriented design all combine to make a superb product. Bulletproof construction and a solid company backing the product make for a wholehearted recommendation. Plenty of loops and attachment points add a great deal of versatility to the package. The suspension system is marvelous and for people going for less than a week you'll appreciate the comfort it provides. You multi-week trekkers will likely complain about the wasted space. Get a job drifter!

"Great pack for week hike"
          06/18/09
Used this pack to travel to Hawaii for a week, but only used it for 2 to 3 days at a time when I was on trails. Great for actually taking all of your gear to one place, but it is a little large for 1 - 3 day hikes. I used some duct-tape to compresse the pack and worked perfectly, but if you are a strict weekend warrior I would snag the 50. Also the back vent is awesome, and the pack weight stays relatively close to your back even though there is a gap.
