Great pack. Although my wife and I aren't using this pack as perhaps it was intended by Osprey (we're using it as our newborn's baby bag), it has still "delivered" (zing!!) the high quality we had expected. We both have our own Osprety packs we have used for day trips and camping, but this one is probably our favorite. Tough, spacious, lots of storage and organization. We have NOT used the hydration bladder, so I can't comment on it. But it did come with one, so thats nice. Would definatly recommend it and/or buy again. and you should buy it from moosejaw.com
I used this pack everyday for a week straight during my vacation trip to Florida in the summer of 2013. We went to Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World. It worked great for carrying bottled water and using the accompanying bladder, souvenirs, rain ponchos and the other items. The airspeed suspension worked well in the Florida heat, prevented sweating. The pack offers ample space for all your bits and pieces. The configuration of how the bladder works kind of takes up some space in the main compartment. The side zipper is a great feature as an additional entry point into the main compartment. I used the hip belt pockets for my phone and camera. I especially liked the ergo pull hip belt. I never felt tired or sore from carrying the pack for upwards to 10hrs a day. It was also a great carry on for the plane and fit well under the seat. This pack is another great example of Osprey's ingenuity. I have used it many times since for day hikes and love it.
I got this for Christmas from my wife, and I love it. After I adjusted the straps and put some weight in it it rides great right on my hips. I use it while bike commuting and have found it to have the right amount of space with spare warm clothing, bike tools, and work stuff. I have yet to use the water bladder seeing as it's currently below zero in Minnesota, but it comes out of the pack very easily, I only wish it had a dedicated hose hole instead of the hose coming out of the zipper. It keeps my back from sweating (yes even in winter I sweat when a pack sits directly on my back with a down jacket on). Unfortunately I wont be able to use it for the next six weeks because my bike slipped on some ice and I broke my arm, but I am looking forward to riding with it again and using it in the summer for hikes.P.S. the bike light clip on bottom is a life saver, quite literally, brilliant design, love it.
