"Great add on" 03/22/12
Was looking for something to add to my Osprey backpack to conceal a small 380. This grab bag is perfect. Conceals my DB380 and easy to get to. Bonus it holds my bandanna and stuff I like to get to easily while hiking. Love the brand Osprey and you won't find a funner place to order from than Moosejaw...they're crazy!

I have this attached to whatever pack I am using no matter what I am doing, school, work, or hiking. Like the other reviewers have said it is great as an organizer and allows you to put things you would normally have to carry in pockets or take your pack off for. I've never had a problem with it being slanted. it's designed slanted cause the zippers a little slanted. I tried it across the chest which was awkward and since my chest strap isn't removable it gets in the way. So I moved my down a bit so it rest on the right side of my stomach and attaches on my left hip. My only problem has been the strap. I tighten it down and it will slide a bit so the grab bag isn't snug.

Borderline fanny pack..but it has too much swag to be considered one. Conveniently placed anywhere on the a bag. The other reviewers just aren't creative and follow instructions too much. Great pouch for wallet, phone, etc.

osprey hit the spot with accessory items for their packs!this was my first time having this on an expedition,and its priceless!it connects super easily onto pack straps & provides constant access to items that you need periodically throughout the day wit the convenience of not having to take your pack off.not a huge deal, but the only thing i'd ask osprey to re-think would be to make this grab bag be functionally simultaneously with the aqua stow. its awesome, but it, use it, love it

Great little bag for storing items needed on a hike like sunglasses, Chapstick, pocket knife, etc. It can be used with the pack or around your waist. It is easy to attach and detach. Excellent quality and very functional.

I wish that the Osprey add-ons had pictures of them actually on a pack. This pouch is great as an organizer. Well thought out, with plenty of storage for "little" things. The method of attachment is odd though. It goes across your chest, which is fine, but it is kind of slanted and the straps are offset, so you cannot just replace your sternum strap with it. Osprey is awesome, and I am a big fan, but I think this one could have been engineered a little batter. Plus, I an pretty sure this could work on another brand of pack. It sits on your chest between shoulder straps.
"Great for small random crap" 04/14/10
If you want a small catch-all on your pack, this is it. Good for a couple granola bars, multi tool, small camera, gps, etc... I like to keep things out of my pockets while back packing and this is totally where it's at. Attatches easily. The only problem is there is TONS of extra webbing, but you can just jam it all down a little slot on the back.
