The Osprey Daylite Daypack is a backpack that probably will never leave your back. It's too comfortable, too versatile and too stylish not to use all the time. From day hikes to commuting to work to bike riding to an overnight bag: the uses are pretty limitless for this pack. Like duct tape. The mesh covered ridged foam backpanel, waiststrap and padded straps will make it comfortable, and the air chimney in the backpanel makes it breathable. Try not to wear it everywhere, although we can't stop you.

"Awsome" 02/19/12
I got it as an add on for my Aether 85 but it was good timing cause my book bag fell apart the same week. since then I use it for everything from long trips to day trips to everyday at school. It holds way more than you would think from looking at it. The only draw back is the side compression straps. They expand well but they make putting things like my books or laptop into the top pocket. If they came with buckles for quick release that would make this pack perfect. And ending on a good note as long as it can still function as a pack I don't think I'll be needing to buy another.
"daylite? more like daybright..." 10/27/11
Good little backpack well worth 50 bucks. Has a seperate pocket for a resevoir, Then the main pocket which holds alot more than you would think. The front zipper that works great for a wallet or phone...not much else. About the size of a big draw string backpack. I have had it on my Atmos 50 but Its unnecessary for a 2 day hike so I use it by itself mostly.
"Fits the bill for wherever I need it!" 02/20/11
Bought this daypack to take on my latest vacation. Needed something smaller than my porter but bigger than a purse. Decided to break it in on our saturday afternoon hikes and don't know why I didn't think to get one sooner. Strapped it to the luggage rack on the motorcycle and almost lost it when the bungee cord we were using broke, tire burned a hole right thru it! But I LOVE the Osprey Almighty Gurantee!!!! Sent it back patched. All I have left to do is get a reservoir and I'll be good to go (my water bottles refuse to stay in the side pockets... course it might help if I stopped sliding down the hill, my brother-in-laws idead of shortcut is usually up a 90 degree slope!)
"Great Day Pack" 02/07/11
I use this on Day trips on the trail and also when im just running around town. It's a great pack to throw gym cloths in or throw some snacks in and hit the trail. It's also very comfortable on my shoulders.
"Perfect for quick bike trips around town, day hikes, the gym," 01/12/11
Although I am terribly biased towards all Osprey packs, this little guy is the newest edition to my collection and it has already replaced my bike messenger bag for 80% of my trips. Fits great, insanely light, and great pockets. I even use the H2O sleeve for my U-Lock.
"Wonderful daypack! Perfect for day time outtings, or as an overnight bag." 01/05/11
I got this bag as a bonus when I got my backpacking bag, and I LOVE IT. I use this way more than I ever thought I would. It's nice and compact, and yet can fit a TON of stuff. I've been able to use it as an overnight bag when staying over at friend's places. Have been able to fit a day or two of clothes, toiletries, and a lightweight sleeping bag in it. It really is deceiving how much stuff can fit in this little thing. It was also and invaluable day pack on my trip to Peru. I was able to fit all my hiking essentials, like water, sunblock and snacks, as well as an extra jacket and poncho. Get this bag!
"Lightweight and comfortable" 01/05/11
I've used this on 10-12 trips to carry some layers, snacks and bottled water. Good size for on short trips away from car. I've also used for taking into work small items like iPads and such. Works well and fits comfortably. Seems durable.
"A great addition to a great backpack which allowed my spiffy self to look spiffier!" 12/19/10
Bought this thing before a 3 night backpack in New Mexico. I bought it to attach as an accessory on my Osprey Aether 70 pack. I wanted it because I hate taking the top off of my pack to use as a fanny pack. (they never fit worth a crap) It attached easy to my backpack, held my bladder, was comfortable when worn alone, and held as much stuff as i needed (camera, jacket, first aid kit and other essentials) when I wanted to venture away from camp but not take a whole backpack. Of course Moosejaw got it to me quickly with a kiss to boot!! Don't know if I would like this for 12 mile hikes, but as an add on or as a short hike or park hike it is great!!
