The Osprey AquaStow is a water bottle holder that fits around the waist or as a cross shoulder strap. Adjustable velco fits water bottles sized up to one liter. Keeps your water bottle handy for spraying bears to scare them away. Or hydrating, your choice.

"Wish I'd known about this sooner" 02/26/12
I carry a Nalgene everywhere and used to just use a carabiner to attach it to my belt loop. But that would stress both the belt loop and the bottles lid loop till one or the other broke. The aqua stow is amazing just on it's own. It keeps the bottle from swinging around when I walk and it is easy to grab the bottle and put it back with out fighting a carabiner that would catch on my belt loop. Plus it attaches to both my Daylite and my Aether, not exactly with ease the first time but after a couple times I have it down to a minute or two. Now I wouldn't think about even going on a simple hike without it.

I use a resevoir for water, but i carry a Nalgene for Kool-aid, Mountain Dew or whatever else in the fridge when I leave. This works fantastic on my pack...with other add-ons! I have an Atmos 50 and ive heard of several people not being able to use the add-ons together...but I have this one, the grab bag, digistow, and the daylite all on the pack, you just have to get creative.
"awesome access & easily incorporated onto pack straps" 06/13/10
this is a handy location for sure. i use a bladder for water when backpacking & had wanted this for hot drink or gatorade mix. but it doesn't function simultaneously with the osprey pouch accessories. the pouch has higher need for me to access snacks, compass, sunnies & hand sani so i gave this aqua stow 2 my friend, it was her best friend for 3 weeks in utahs dehydrating desert. hydration is happiness & this stow helps.
