Did not work in the clutchTried the product out at home and worked great. I then took it into the Arkansas Wilderness and it didn't work. I checked everything over and there was pressure in the bottle but somehow, whenever I opened the valve there was no fuel getting to the stove. I tried clearing the fuel line with the nice magnetic tool but that didn't seem to help. We would have been in trouble but we had a spare stove, so we didn't have to eat cold pizza making ingredients. The stove construction seems pretty solid and I liked the size. I feel like I just got a dud. Based on the price of this bad boy I have hopes that your stove will be better than the one I got.

slightly heavier than most stoves, better temp control, extremely stable pot stands.I have used this stove on a couple different camping trips now, the extra weight is not very noticeable. the stove itself pre lights easy, and cools in about 5-10 minutes after use. the added carrying case extra o-rings and cleaning tool are very handy to have with you in case of a jam, on an excursion. Granted I made oatmeal & SPAM (Squirrel Possum and Moose) the stove fried the spam with ease able to control the heat very easily even on a cheap Walmart fry pan from when i was 12. The optimus fuel bottle is also a better quality bottle than MSR with added safety features like a child proof cap. (fuel bottle not included with stove)

For the experienced outdoor culinar! This stove is excellent! I've used it exclusively with Kerosene, and it has proven reliable and easy to clean through many meals in many environments. The pot supports are super strong too; I've used my big 20lb cast iron wok on it a number of times, and I tell you what, I kind of prefer it to my home stove. It gets hot! But, it also simmers real nice, though you might need to trust your ears that it is still working, as in full sunlight the 'simmer' flame is invisible. The magnetic shaker valve cleaner works real nice for two or three pot meals; not having to shut down and let it cool to clean it is a big plus! It is loud on high, however; that's the only negative I can think of.

Best stove out there! This is an excellent stove and is far superior to the MSR stoves for the following reasons 1 It has excellent flame control comparable to the MSR Dragonfly 2 The pump is all metal construction and won't break on you like the MSRs which you are supposed to take a replacement with you in case it does break - 35! 3 Has easy on/off setup to drain the fuel line 4 Has a quick disconnect line 5 Magnetic shaker jet so you can clean the line while it is running or hot 6 Looks super cool and nobody has them It's a little pricier but it is much better built than MSRs .

I like this stove works every time. I'd buy this stove again over the competition. Not So Nice This isn't the quietest stove. you always know it's on Fuel valve adjustment rotates near the base of the stove you need to straighten the cable to rotate it easily. Not that big a deal though. You need to be careful priming to not release too much fuel. Nice Strong heat output. Very strong, stable base for holding pots. Fuel pump and bottle are quality. Comes with useful accessories. Note The stove comes with a bottle, carry case, very small parts kit less than either of the accessory kits, and a windscreen.

In the end - MSR better!I had this stove for a couple years. I used it throughout the arctic and the canadian rockies, both in summer and winter. I bought it because it seemed simple, not many parts, and the metal pump. However, it is not easy to operate (compared to MSR stoves). The flame control is stupid and difficult, if not careful, you may flip over your pot...They should use a switch! Really hard to set it up in the cold, since you screw it together the metal changes size...you have to warm up the pieces with bare hands...not pleasant! It guzzles fuel. Its heavy. If you want a good stove, go with a dragon fly or xgk. Far better and reliable. I used a dragon fly for 3 months straight - skiing and hiking from Jasper, Alberta to Southern Montana. It didnt fail once, the optimus failed lots (needs lots of cleaning!)!

The best! Your friends will be jealous. If you want the best, this is it! A few extra bucks gets you a stove you can count on wherever/whenever you need it. Metal pump, very stable, easy to control flame, multi-fuel flexibility and it looks great so your friends will be impressed. I have only had mine for a month and have never had it clog, but there is a simple magnetic toggle to clear clogs if you have to use dirty fuel. Beats pulling that other brand apart to clean! Small form factor and durability you can count on.

Super goodThis is a really good stove; very powerful, great flame control, packs super small.,,It comes with a good carrying bag, and the multi tool with which you can take it apart completely. The easy cleen system is really helpful; the only downs are: 1. The fact that it takes a while to prime, and it takes practice to do it properly. 2. The time it takes to empty the hose when you turn the bottle.,,,,Overall very good product.
