Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not CE approved, fits standard cracks. Just as the description says, they fit standard cracks. Nothing special, but they are a great deal and are a great addition to a well varied nut collection. So it seems that Omega Pacific doesn't have CE approvals for their gear, or at least for the wedgies. That means they can't sell in Europe. Europe seems to be pretty strict on safety regs regarding this approval and I feel much better with it on my lifeline gear. Was it rejected or they just didn't want to spend the $? Each nut also does not have their individual rating printed on it, nor on the packaging. Sketchy. A nut or wedgie is the most basic protection, so how bad could you mess it up? Your call.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product for the price. I purchased these after I started to rebuild my rack and I was impressed. It's a good price for a set or 13 nuts and a good buy for beginners before moving on to more expensive cams. Each nut is labelled by size and has it's own KiloNewton rating on it and has a plastic guard over the wire swage, which proudly states, "Made in USA." It's a good envestment for filling out a rack. The smaller sizes, 1, 2, and maybe 3 I've never used because they're so small but I feel safe using the ones I have as protection. They're a good value for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid product at a good price. Easy to place and feel bomber! For the most part, nuts are nuts, but I find what makes or breaks the purchase for me is the quality of the swage connection on the wire since that is probably the weakest part of every nut. Omega Pacific wedgies feel very solid, and the plastic coating over the swage keeps it from catching or snagging during those strenuous moments between unclipping off your sling and clipping the rope to the piece.,,,,Additionally, that anodizing looks stellar and the number etched into each one helps with identifying the size. Good value all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Okay, maybe they cost the same as BDs here at Moosejaw, but I bought my set from Omega for 50 bucks and love them. The 3 smallest sizes are pretty useless for free climbing, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to carry them anyways. I always feel good when I find the perfect home for one of these guys. #10 is the only one I have taken a fall on, but it held like a champ.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic and bomb proof Slightly cheaper than the black diamond set I got mine on sale and never looked back. The most basic protection, good for almost ever crevice and crack, excellent for top rope and abseil set ups
