The Oboz Men's Yellowstone II Boot is a leather hiking boot for leaving the city and exploring nature on foot. Waterproof nubuck leather and BDry waterproof/breathable membrane come together to create an upper that keeps you dry in all sorts of weather and wraps your foot in softness. The further you walk, the more the leather softens and your arches are happy as can be with the BFit Deluxe insole. Ignore whatever pain is in your knee and let the nylon shank provide the strength you need at the foot level to hit switchback after switchback, taking miles to gain elevation. Grip the earth with the sidewall lugs of the Sawtooth outsole, making your way from place to place, with plenty of support wrapping your ankle.

Good mid-boot, light and durable.I bought this boot for a trip to Europe. I bought them in black and they're not terribly out of place if you wear them down to the pub. On the trail they perform well, though they do get a bit hot and sweaty; so I recommend these more for a Fall/Winter boot rather than the summer. I didn't test the waterproofing, but I suspect it's on par with any other 'waterproof' boot. ,, Quality-wise it's a good boot, there is a little break-in time as with most leather goods. It's not long though and before you know it you'll be bounding through your universe.

Great bootsI've had these shoes for a couple months and I've been very impressed. They have a really short break in period and at the end of the day I'm still yet to have sore feet. The water proofing works pretty well- I've had semi-wet feet going through snow before, but they do dry really quickly so it's not that big of an issue to me. They aren't insulated much but I've been snowshoeing in these in about 10 degrees with some thick wool socks and my feet were fine, they also stayed completely dry with snowshoes. I very much recommend these guys.

My second pair they perform so well! After three years and over 900 miles of mountain hiking, my first pair of Oboz are starting to wear out. These boots are so comfortable and light weight, without giving up anything in performance, it is a no-brainer as to what brand will replace them! If you want a great pair of boots that really last and last, here they are!
