I bought these as a bang around boot here in canada so that i wouldn't wreck my mountaineering boots for small hikes and day to day stuff. I had never heard of the company before. To my surprise they are super comfy,there was no break in period. Out of the box they were ready to go. the waterproofing has not leaked, and they have held up really well. going on 9 months and they still look fairly new. Giving that canada has a tendency to eat boots fast, this says alot.
I have hiked in british columbia with these and RMNP numerous times and numerous summits. This boot has stood the test of time. I highly recommend Oboz. Great product
