It's had to find a "low" waterproof hikerI found that these shoes are well made and of quality materials. The traction is good on wet surfaces. They are heavier than I would prefer (I bought them for hiking in canyons that are occasionally wet - lots of altitude gain/loss - so weight a drag). If you hike in flat/wet climates these are a good choice. Fit seems "standard" - I found that the foot-bed inside has less contour to it then most shoes - if you have a high arch these may be less comfortable then other choices. The toe box is wide (which is good for me). They are waterproof and tend to be warmer/hot on hot days.
