Great product for waterproofing your shoes! Make sure to spray this outside, it is a little strong smelling. Works amazing!

"Does what its supposed to, water beads off after treated" 02/27/08

Love this stuff - put it on my hyvent jacket after being soaked and weighted down - now water beads off it like it did when it was new. Used it on my waterproof breathable snowpants with good results.

"I think it works" 01/06/08

Spray seems to work so far. It has a weird smell for a short time but eventually goes away. You end up using a whole bottle for a jacket. Would not recommend using for deodorant or perfume.

Great product that restores the Gore to Tex - or is it the Tex to Gore? Anyway, the jacket held up under extremely wet conditions after I applied the Nikwax.

I usually use the wash-in water proofing but the sales person suggested trying the spray instead. He was right, it seems to work better. Thanks to a helpful staff.

"Works nicely, smells nasty" 12/24/06

A good product - My snowboard pants were taking on water in a pretty serious way before I treated them, now I come back from the slopes with a nice dry posterior! Of course the waterproofing isn't perfect, sit in water for long enough and it'll still seep through but the spray is good for giving old gear a new lease of life.<BR><BR>Biggest downside is it smells awful when treating and the smell kinda lingers. Not a concern if it's snowboarding outerwear but it might get unpleasant if you're treating hiking gear.

"Worthless" 09/25/06

Typically I used the wash in and decided to give this one a try because the equipment could use a refresh but not a wash. Don't waste your money, the wash in is 10x better

"The best I've found since my usual product was taken off the market dure to environmental concerns." 10/20/05

I found this product to be better than others. I tried Granger's two step wash, waterproofing and then drying to set the solution supposedly to make it waterproof. It did not work very well so I tried Nikwax which was recommended by Moosejaw's pleasant salesperson. Finally success, although the weather here in Chicago has not been inclement enough to really test it fully in the field. I'm sure that will change veryu soon.

"Over all a good product. Just shake it a LOT before using." 10/11/05

The spray seems to have done a really good job at re-waterproofing my gore tex coats (used it on two). It dried quickly, and the instructions provided were easy to understand. The only issue was that it was difficult to get the spray started. The bottle needs to be shaken A LOT to get it moving.
