Great PadI'm a ten-year veteran of the camping department at REI Atlanta. After a demo at the store by the Nemo sales rep, I decided to buy the 20R for myself. I just tried it out on the AT on a hike from Winding Stair Gap to the NOC. There was lots of snow on the ground and the first night's temperatures dropped to 10*. The second night the low was 19*. The pad performed well with a 19* rated REI Igneo sleeping bag. In retrospect, I may have been more comfortable on the 25 inch version, but I am committed to packing light, and opted for the lighter pad. I didn't do a trial set-up with the pad before my hike, and had a some problems deflating the pump for repacking the pad. I found some information on the Nemo website when I returned home, and it deflated easily for repacking.

A quick flat...I really like the design and am amazed by the weight and size compared to the comfort but I bought it not two months ago and on my fourth backpacking trip, it started deflating so that I woke up flat on the ground. I repaired it and it seems to hold so far but it definetely lowered my trust in the product... I am wondering if it's sturdy enough to be used on a long backpacking.

Pretty much perfectJust returned from a weeklong loop through the Snowmass Wilderness with this insulated Vector and it was flawless. The guys I led were envious of the footpump after long days of hard hiking to set up camp. The few extra ounces for the included pump were well worth it to me.
It is warm, lightweight and QUIET. Probably the quietest pad I have among my thermarest, big agnes and other nemo pads. I slept great all week.

Super warm!I bought this for our camping trip. The first time i used it, temps dropped down in the low 30's. Retained body heat well, light weight and compact. Built in foot pump worked with ease, overall very pleased.

The Perfect Combo!Replaced a very noisy Neoair pad with this gem. Got it the day of a backpacking trip, threw it in and hoped for the best without trying it. Love this pad from the get go. Lightweight even with the pump, super comfy, and most importantly, the quietest pad around. Was skeptical of the integrated foot pump, but it worked great, and took only about 20 seconds longer to inflate than my boyfriend airing up his Big Agnes Q-Core SL by mouth. Way quieter, and just as comfy, but with a bigger price tag, the Nemo is still my choice. Should have waited until it was on sale, but couldn't take another trip with the noise of the Neoair. The Nemo is warm, quiet, well made, keeps both you and your bag on the pad, and the long/wide size is an awesome option (I'm 5'9" and like to sprawl a bit). We had a water bladder leak in our tent over night and although the underside of the Nemo was soaking wet, I was bone dry, and it dried out within a few minutes of removing it from the tent. Can't say enough good things about this pad!
