Blown AwayUp to this point I have been let down by several sleeping bags. Part of my problem was I didn't want to spend the money. I thought I could find a "cheap but just as good as the big names" bag. When I decided to finally drop the money I was obsessive about researching companies and their sleeping bags. Every bag I researched there was always something wrong. I was looking at many other big name companies. One day I was on Nemo's website and buying their Dagger 2p and got intrigued by their sleeping bags. Man I am glad I bought this bag!
This weekend I was in 25 degree weather on a cliff with wind around 5-10mph. I slept in base layers and was too hot. The next night the weather app was calling for 40 degrees over night. So I didn't pack base layers or a fleece liner. I slept in compression shorts and a t shirt. Well, the weather app was wrong. It dropped to 25 degrees and I was in a valley so its safe to say take another 5 degrees off. There was a ton of moisture due to the creek running by and it being below a bunch of cliffs. Even with the sun coming up it took 2.5 hours before the sun actually hit where I was camped.
I woke up to lots of moisture on the outside of the bag but none soaked through. I was toasty warm all night and not one chill.I even started sweating a little and had to not use the blanket fold. I climbed out of the tent and there was ice and frost everywhere.
Also great feature is the spoon shape which allows for great side sleeping and I can easily transition to my stomach. I really like the blanket fold because you can tuck it in around your neck and get nice and toasty or flip it up to cover the face slot and burry in the bag.
The only negative someone could draw is it doesn't pack down as small as some mummy bags. I however didn't worry about this because of the ability to sleep on my side and stomach without twisting the whole bag. Its still so light and packs pretty small for as much material that is there. So get yourself a good compression bag and it will be ok.
Overall, I really recommend this sleeping bag to anyone that likes cold weather camping.

My Favorite Piece of Gear!I used this bag on my PCT thru hike and it quickly turned into my favorite piece of gear. This bag was so comfortable and always kept me warm. Even after using it daily for 5 months, it doesn't appear to have lost any loft. My biggest problem with this bag was that I never wanted to get out of it in the morning! The only thing that would have been nice is if there was a women's version of this bag that was slightly shorter. At 5'2, I had nearly a foot of extra space at the bottom of the bag. Overall, I love this bag!

Good bag but you have to learn how to use itI bought my Nocturne 15 last year (so I don't know if it has been redesigned) and just returned from a backpacking trip that tested it thoroughly. First the good part: I am a 6'4" tall, 60 year old side sleeper. I loved the spoon shape that allowed me positions that simply were not options before. The down filled baffle at the top of the front of the bag was wonderful to either tuck down inside or to flip over my face for warmth and darkness. The only downside is that Nemo puts almost all of the down insulation in the front of the bag plus around the feet and head. The backside has very little, relying on the insulation pad to keep this side warm. This actually works well IF my nighttime gyrations do not rotate the bag but since they almost always do, I have to readjust the bag position so my backside doesn't get cold. But since I have always had to adjust something during the night with any sleeping bag, I decided this was a small price to pay for the comfort of the bag.
Can you please provide the weight of the regular and long size as well as the stuffed sizes? Thanks
