Amazing ComfortI am 66 yrs old and a restless sleeper who has tried multiple sleeping systems over 45 years. The Mezzo Luxury combined with the Cosmo Insulated Air pad has been what I've been looking for. The most comfortable, roomy, feature packed, and easy to set system out there. Quality every where you look. More thought put into the Mezzo Loft bags than others I have used. Two zippers - perfect (and they don't snag), Room to roll over, side sleep, back sleep, belly sleep, pockets for light,& or glasses, hood holds the pillow from getting lost during the night. Pocket for the sleeping pad, valves within easy reach to adjust air pressure, the dump valve works great and dumps nearly all the air when laying on the mattress.

So much room!Used this bag on a recent 4 day trip and it was great. Stuck a cosmoXL beneath it and felt like I was in a real bed the whole time. Temps only got into the 40s, but I felt good and didn't need to zip all the way up. I really like the pillow space so your pillows don't go everywhere while sleeping. A few other nifty hiding places too. I would recommend for any taller folk (I am 6 ft and had plenty of room) or people who like to sleep on their stomachs. I am ordering a second to connect them for camping with the lady.

Good bag an roomy enough for two peopleAfter an absolute tonne of research I finally decided to settle on this bag due to the many favourable reviews of both the Mezzo Loft and Nemo products, it's compatibility with XL sleeping pads and it's large, roomy cut which makes it ideal for tall/large people.
*Large and roomy enough for two people (I'm 6'4'' and my partner is 5'10'') so you probably won't need to buy an additional bag to zip up.
*Perfectly fits a Nemo XL Cosmo sleeping pad and can be combined with another Mezzo Loft.
*Clever design and made with quality materials.
*One of the few bags out there that caters for large people.
*Double zips and chest flip helps you control the temperature inside the bag.
*On the large side when packed down. You'll probably want to purchase a compression sack like a Sea to Summit eVent to really make it practical for backpacking.
*The square cut shape means you lose a lot of heat in the legs so it's probably not the best for cold nights unless you want to layer up. On the flip side because of this it can be pushed into summer use and is actually versatile depending on what you wear to bed.
*Because theres absolutely no filling on the back it really needs to be used with a sleeping pad.
*The colour scheme-ughhh! :-P
Overall it's a great bag and I'm happy with my purchase. I'll be using the Mezzo Loft Luxury until I upgrade to something more specialized but I'd say it's the better suited for couples than the large/tall solo backpacker/traveller.

Where has this been alll my life!I just bought this bag and am extremely happy I did. It's everything I've ever wanted from a sleeping bag. I am a side/stomach sleeper, tend to spread out when I sleep, and can't stand to have a sleeping bag twist around or not have the ability to move my legs or roll over.
There's room to roll around, kick a knee out, what have you. The dual zippers are really convenient and they don't snag--you can pick which side you want to unzip depending on your setup, or just unzip both sides and roll it down. The hood keeps your pillow in place AND allows me to stick my arm out from under my pillow without getting cold in the night! The stash pockets are actually useful and keep your phone, mp3 player, or glasses tucked nearby. The blanket flap that you can tuck under your chin is the cherry on top (super cozy).
I won't be taking this out backpacking, but I CAN put it in my kayak and be super comfortable! I paired this with an existing 30" pad I have and it is the most comfortable camping experience ever. I don't know why I waited this long to buy this bag, it's perfect!

Great bag, preformer, but takes some adjustmentsI got this bag a year ago and am just now getting around to the review because I wanted to thoroughly test this bag to the limits. I purchased the Cosmo 30in wide insulated pad as well. Overall an excellent purchase for me I move around a lot when sleeping and this bag offers plenty of room. The pad and bag combined are a really cool combo, I keep them together all the time makes for faster set up and tare down.
I have had this bag down to low teens and with some good thermals, and secondary layer as well as a fleece and wool blanket I stayed relatively warm. The pad could not insulate well enough so I got a little cold from underneath. But this bag impressed me in how far I could push it with layering. I am a very cold sleeper and in just shorts and a t-shirt (my regular sleeping attire at home) the lowest I could go comfortably was lower 40s but as I layer up I can push it really low. I have noticed though the zipper baffles could be a little larger sometimes they get moved and I can feel a draft, as well I wish the hood has a little different shape and could somehow have a drawstring to close it up some. For warming up the pad a little Reflectix insulation under the pad in the sleeve works wonders.
Wish there were more sizes available I am a smaller guy and I end up with a ton of extra length to fill when its cold out so I have to stuff a bunch of clothes down there to take up some of that free space so I don't have to try and heat that as well.
Comfort is great with the added quilt flap being able to pull that around me. I have really enjoyed this product and am pretty critical with gear I do a lot of research before I purchased this. NEMO has impressed me with this bag and pad now I am looking at the Nocturne 15 and the Hornet 2p tent and maybe another tent. I am definitely getting the pillow.
Thanks NEMO for the great innovation and products!!!

Warm and RoomyI used this for the first time last weekend. I am 6'4" and I had plenty of room...I love the zippers on both sides...I ordered it with air mattress...the larger size...worked great as a combo...and slept great. It was not that cold...around 48 Degrees, found myself sweating if I didn't open up the bag.
