Great ProductI took this product out to West Virginia for some car camping at Seneca Rocks. I paired the Mezzo Loft Duo with the 50 inch Nemo sleeping pad. The two worked perfectly together. The sleeping bag was very comfy, easy to use and easy to pack up. The bag is great for car camping but I'd dare to say you could even use this for short range (non-ultralight) backpacking if you really wanted to. I don't think the weight would be the worst part of bringing this product along on a backcountry trip. The packed size would be the biggest deterrent as it would take up the majority of a large pack or about half of what I'd call an extra large pack. But since this product is made for two there's probably a good chance there will be another pack involved to stow the rest of the gear.

Awesome bag!Love this sleeping bag! Its kept us warm on cold nights and surprisingly keeps us comfortable on warmer nights as well. The material is soft and we absolutely love the attention to detail with this bag. We bought a 50inch sleeping pad which fits perfect into the mattress pad pocket on the bottom of the bag. We don't have to worry about slipping off the mattress pad all night. There are little pockets on both sides for your phone, keys, wallet and other personal items which is a nice touch. There are also two pockets for your pillows to keep those from sliding around as well! We love our purchase and are very pleased with the quality and features of this sleeping bag! It doesn't disappoint! Oh and one more thing! The bag is too big to use backpacking when in the original sack it came with but we bought a compression sack and it can easily compress down to the size of a single bag!

Great for taking on the motorcycle! We recently took this bag to Wisconsin Dells for a motorcycle rally weekend. The weather was down in to the 40's over night, and we had plenty of rain for a nice cold damp weekend. I was afraid I would be freezing overnight but with this beauty, coupled with the Cosmo insulated pad, was perfect! Best night sleep in a tent - EVER! Love it! Can't wait to get out and use it again! The entire system packs down and fit nicely on the motorcycle.

Wanted to love, but just wasn't warm enoughMy husband and I finally wanted to share a sleeping bag together for a memorial day camping trip in Vail, Colorado (who doesn't love cuddling). Upon receiving the sleeping bag it was absolutely beautiful, clearly made out of high quality materials.
I am so sad to be writing a negative review. While the bag was rated for 30 degrees, I assumed that that 37 degree nightly weather in Vail wouldn't have been an issue. However, out first evening in it, I was shivering so badly that we ended up moving to the car for warmth. *sigh*
Hoping that this sleeping bag will be genuinely good for summer camping, we have another camping trip set for the end of June where the lows will likely be in the upper 40s. I am hoping this sleeping bag will be able to with stand the temps - fingers crossed.
I want nothing more than to love this bag, but if this upcoming trip doesn't work - looks like my husband and I are back to separate mummy bags.

Twice tha bag half the coverageThe photos show a backing in this bag....it is not as shown. Simply a signal layer of nylon with inserts for sleeping pads. Sleeping bag on top but not on bottom!
