Comfortable & warm; easy to inflate/deflate.I went camping in Big Bend and had to use 2 sleeping pads to not only feel comfortable, but keep warm. I wish I would have had this guy during that trip!
This pad is by-far the most comfortable pad I have slept on. I have a rotated disc in my back, and was still comfortable. Not only is it super thick, it's warm because of the insulation, packable and is easy to inflate - you use your foot. No getting winded or using a pump. Deflating is also easy - there are multiple valves you can open to get air out faster and of course rolling it also helps with deflation.
The insulation kept me super warm. I was also using the NEMO Rhapsody sleeping bag, but the temperatures got close to freezing and I was toasty. I have been on uncomfortable pads that didn't allow me to sleep, but this one was great. Extremely happy with it and ready to take it out again!

The most comfortable "backpacking" padI bought the Cosmo to pair with my Big Agnes Hogan Park, so I know that it's not going to be super light from the start. That said, after sleeping so well on this pad, I'll be packing this with me on my back country trips regardless of the weight - although it's really only about a pound and a half heavier than my UL pad. When I had a younger back, weight was more important to me than comfort, but as I get older, I really don't mind the extra weight in exchange for a great night's sleep.
The Cosmo inflates very quickly and easily with the integrated pump, and I don't have to worry about mold inside the pad from blowing it up by mouth. I was able to inflate it in about a minute "CPR" style inside my tent, but I'm sure if you had more room, it would go faster using your foot to pump it up.
I recently got back from a trip to Moab, UT, where the overnight temps were down in the 20's, and I still slept very well - the Cosmo warmed up immediately and kept me warm all night. I noticed that whenever I rolled over, the pad would get cold for a minute or so, but would warm up again quickly.
The Cosmo isn't nearly as loud as some of the other pads I've used, so that wasn't an issue for me. I also bought the Nemo Fillow, and that little pillow is almost as comfortable to sleep on as my real pillow.
All said, I'm very pleased with my Nemo pad and pillow, and they will be going with me everywhere.

Very ComfortableBought it to go with the Stratto Loft sleeping bag. Very easy to inflate and deflate. Roll-up was a breeze. While inflating one intake valve would gurgle when self-inflating but it didn't seem to effect performance. We actually bought two mattresses and bags. My wife and I really loved the comfort. 25 inches wide is just right. We had been using a Big Agnes 20 inch pad and it always seemed too narrow. We are looking forward to our best camping sleep ever.

Great Sleeping Pad but tricky to pack away.Great Sleeping Pad but tricky to pack away.
I own the regular size (25inch) version. I bought it for my Nemo Strato Loft Sleeping bag, it is the perfect match for that bag. Overall I really like this sleeping pad, no complaints in terms of loft or insulation. I really like having the built in pump, I used to own a Big Agnes Air Core and it took forever to inflate and I was always worried about moisture getting into the air-chambers. It takes about 1 minute to inflate this bag using the built in pump. This is however a rather big sleeping bag at 25 inches across and 78 inches long, I bought it mainly because it is the perfect fit for the Nemo Strato Loft that I also own, but in reality I would have rather a 20 by 72 inch regular sized sleeping bag (I wish the Nemo Strato Loft came in those dimensions). One negative about this sleeping bag is that it is a pain to roll-up and get back into its stuff sack, the sheer 78 inch length means it is not the easiest to roll up. Also, I have always been to roll up other sleeping pads I have owned very compactly and fit them back into their stuff sacks, this sleeping pad is not the easiest to deflate and roll up due in part to the built in pump but mostly because of its sheer size. Overall I really like this pad and would recommend it, especially if you own the Nemo Strato Loft.

Happy Camper from
I LOVE NEMO!My Nemo has floated around in my canoes, slept out on open rock, on cement basement floors - you name it we have been there and I have always been comfortable. But what really impressed me was, that after 4 maybe 5 years my Nemo developed a pin hole leak at a seam, and they replaced it. Free. No questions. Not even shipping charges. Wow am I impressed! Thank you Nemo!!!!

Small packed size, stops the cold and great for side sleepersGot this to go with the Verve bag. A great combination. I decided to go one size larger than recommended (I went with the 25 instead of the 20). ,,,,First thing I thought when I opened it was "great, I'll never get this back in the stuff sack again". Second thought was "this will take for every to pump up with the foot pump". Wrong both times! Pump up only took about 3 minutes. When I went to pack it back up, it was a little awkward as the pump overlaps where you fold it but once I got it figured out and it fit back in the stuff sack nicely. ,,,,As for sleeping, I didn't feel any cold coming up from the ground and there was none of that crinkly noise from the "other guys" pads. I think Nemo's on to something with the way they run the ribs. There's no trough to fall in between ribs if you're a side sleeper.

Little Mike from
Extremely comfortableI bought two of these for an upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon. We tried them out backpacking on the east coast. Extremely comfortable, even when sleeping on your side. I am 6'1", 220lbs and it was the best two nights of sleep I have had while backpacking. The built in pump is great! We used our hands to pump it not our feet. The tabs to open the valves are a little tough to open but are extremely secure. Fast inflate and deflate. Great product!

Warm and doesn't bottom outthe integrated pump is brilliant, it deflates quickly and repackages nice and small with very little effort. But even better, this is the first mattress that I have found where I can sleep on my side and not ground out on my old arthritic hips. It also really is warm. I bought the Nemo Tango Duo to go with these and was the only one last weekend that didnt freeze. Love,, love, love.
