Great for bony side-sleepers!I have a trip coming up that will involve sleeping on the floor of a cabin in a remote field station. Knowing that I would not enjoy my trip one bit if I woke up stiff and sore every morning, I knew buying high quality sleeping gear would make or break the experience. After testing some prototypes, courtesy of my friends, I decided that the Nemo Cosmo Air Lite would be worth the cost. It was the only sleeping pad I could lay on, on my side, without sinking through to the hard floor beneath. Plus it's extremely light weight, so I won't have to check my bag on the plane just because I want to sleep comfortably. Also, I'm not sure why the gender listed for this pad is male, anyone would appreciate this sleeping pad in their arsenal! For reference, I'm 5' 6" and weigh 125lbs, so if you are taller or heavier you may want to invest in the larger pads in the Nemo Cosmo Air line. I've been told the pad is sturdy enough that it can hold up to your dog or cat running across it, but I think I will still err on the side of caution since it is so expensive. Of course, as you can see in my photo, pets will just wait until you aren't paying attention to test it out themselves.
