The Nemo Astro Insulated 20R Sleeping Pad is an insulated air mattress for colder weather backpacking. Built for temps as low as 15-25°F, the PrimaLoft® insulation throughout boosts the warmth. The pad thickness of 3 inches keeps you off the cold ground and a raised baffle at the head of the pad aids your pillow in propping up your head. No rootsPurchased this mattress and went backpacking last week. I just spent one night and the mattress kept roots and small stones at bay. But, I really should have let a little more air out before snoozing because my lower back was unhappy went I awoke. I decided to adjusted the air and lay a little longer. GREAT! I had let some air out the night before but I should have dropped a little more. Now I know. If you let too much out, you can always put it back so pay around until it feels right. Now like everything else, this may not be the greatest thing since a catcher's mitt but it works, isn't too heavy and didn't cost a lot.

Really comfortable! This is a great use of your money, and don't forget to try to do a price match! This pad will keep you off the ground, and it's super comfy. The baffles are just the right size. Personally, I like the built-in pillow. I'm a pretty short woman, so I can alway scoot down a little and try to avoid it if I need to. You can feel heat radiating off this pad, so it's good for 3 season use. Flip it over if it's too hot. I can't speak the durability since I haven't had it very long, but it seems about as well made as any other air pad. Viva la Nemo.

Very solid productI travel often to the Amazon and I always carry sleeping pad and hammock with me.,,My self-inflatable one broke during my last trip so I needed the new one. After extensive research I decided to buy Nemo Astro Insulated 20R Sleeping Pad. I bought it from Moosjaw because of store's reputation ... and I am glad I did so. Order was shipped very promptly and arrived earlier then expected. I tried the pad couple times already and it is great. It is much thicker than I expected and it hold air very well.,,I am happy with my purchase so far.

A great find!I bought this for a trip to The Smokies and I am glad I did. Until now I've only ever had an old Thermarest from the 90's so this was my first inflatable and insulated sleeping pad. Lightweight, small, and easy to use. Inflated in under a minute and the air valve doesn't leak AT ALL.

Just did our first 3 hike and the beds were amazing. Didn't even realise the ground was cold until I put my are directly on it. They are easily adjusted for different body size/weight. I didn't find them very noisy.
