The Asashi Footprint is a 70D abrasion-resistant nylon fabric tarp perfectly sized to fit underneath your Asashi tent. It reduces wear and tear on your tent floor from contact with the ground. "Instant Sun Shade" 02/22/13

If you have the Asashi you need the footprint. I'm not a huge fan of having to drop another 60 bucks after buying an expensive tent, but this footprint does a whole lot more than just protect the floor. Use it with the Asashi fly and zip off the vestibule door and you're rocking the best sunshade ever. For the park, beach, or wherever it has you covered. Literally. Because the sides of the fly cut upwards you can have get a nice little breeze flowing through that will cool you down on those hot days. All of this would not be possible without the footprint, so buy it already.
