"Wore them to death" 05/08/13
I wore these for two straight weeks in Iceland last month. Perfect for every day use around the camp and hiking, they cut the wind and kept me warm, while still having full use of my fingers for delicate tasks. I wore them so much I did actually create a hole in the pointer finger after two weeks. But that could be due to overly long fingernail or intense nose picking. Or just wearing them too much, it was cold a lot. I'll buy another pair for next winter.
"great for staying warm but not too warm." 02/05/13
I use these when i am running. i wanted something that would keep my hands warm but still let my hands breath. the fabric is great at keeping heat in but not overheating your hands so they are too sweaty.
"Top of the Line" 02/04/12
These gloves are awesome and my wife totally loves them. At first when I told my wife I ordered these gloves for her the reaction that I received was what kind of company is Mountain. All her questions were answered once she put the gloves on. They are comfortable, warm, fit great, and very affordable. Great gloves and truly top of the line!
"Not much in the way of insulation." 01/17/12
Granted, these are supposed to be thin, stretchy gloves, but still . . . I will say that they fit my hands very well with none of that flappy-fingertip thing that many gloves have. There is also a thoughtful strip of suede sewn on the cuff to use when pulling the gloves on; I suppose this keeps them from stretching out of shape or pulling stitches. However, when compared to my Black Diamond gloves of similar weight, these gloves feel considerably less robust. I've relegated these to backup gloves status.
"Great glove for runners!" 12/20/11
I live in the Northeast and needed a good glove for running that would allow my hands to breathe, but still keep them warm for those early morning runs! Snug fit and great for still being able to operate iPod on runs! Definitely true to size. The only thing that would make them better would be a slot for keys!
"Great Gloves, Great Price" 12/14/11
How can you go wrong when your gloves are not only hand-warmers, but when they're off, doubly fulfill a nervous twitch habit, like leg bouncing or pen twirling? The puzzle-piece-like snap together, make this all possible. Great stretch fit, super comfortable and this may be the last time I get ready to leave the house only to come up with one glove. I'm 5'5", 127 pounds, athletic build, if that matters, but I'm pretty sure when it comes to gloves...it doesn't. Great buy. Found them cheaper on Amazon and awesome Moosejaw price matched for me. Overall, love 'em.
"Great gloves. Perfect for active use or as a liner" 01/09/11
Easy call on these gloves. They fit great and are plenty warm considering how thin they are. Another quality item from MH. Haven't yet used them as a liner but I did try them on with some shell gloves I have that have a fleece liner and I think they will work better than the fleece. Great item.
"Perfect for outdoor physical activity!" 12/08/10
I wear these gloves every day on my runs. I live in an area where the temp is frequently below 0 and always have problems with finding gloves that keep my hands warm while not being overly bulky. These are thin enough for me use controls on my ipod, yet my hands are never cold! It doesn't hurt that they're quite stylish and I always get compliments on them.
"these don't meet the demands for backcountry use......" 11/08/10
This material is WEAK!!!!!! If you don't have shells to go over these they are complete junk. Bought them for my girlfriend and they tore open within the first hour of use. The glove was easily snagged and busted wide open. Needless to say I'm not pleased with these - will be buying a different pair from a different manufacturer. Had another person on our last trip with similar gloves who tended a fire all night without any wear to their gloves.
"Warm, form fitting gloves" 01/24/10
Wanted gloves that could be used as 'all purpose' gloves. Wanted gloves that didnt have bulky fingers that make picking up things difficult. These gloves were perfect. The wrist part is nice too - love how it is snug, but not tight.Seem to be pretty water resistant too.
