"This jacket is super cool. The monkey phur fleece (PHUR, not real monkey fur) makes it super soft and cozy, so wearing it is like snuggling up in your favorite blanket. The Powerstretch cuffs and waist add insulation, and in case you're outside playing in the rain or building snowmen, the DWR finish sheds water. Also, people will want to pet and hug you allllll day."

"Nice casual, comfortable fleece" 01/24/13
Nice jacket, style reminds me of the North Face Denali, but fuzzier. I've had this for a while and haven't worn it a ton, but it's a nice addition to my fleece collection. I'm 5'2" 110 and the extra small is snug, but not uncomfortably tight. The chest pocket is awesome. Overall it's comfortable and seems very well made. I have noticed a bit of pilling on the non fleece panels on the sleeves and sides, but very minor. Like many other fleeces the wind will blow right through this.
"Soft as a Monkey's Butt!... wait, what?!" 01/04/13
Smooth as butter, this jacket just asks for people to touch it! Awesome stretch at the cuffs so you don't get wind going up your sleeves, but not a lot of wind protection through the body. Great 'fitted' fit, and the fabric has some give if necessary (after holiday eating...)The best part is that the fleece stays as soft as the day you bought it, doesn't pill or get matted, and even does great in the washing machine.Have one for myself, one for my husband, and wish I could get one for the dog! Buy this now, and you won't be disappointed
"If you want to be warm in some cold conditions without a thick outer layer, this is it." 12/27/12
This Monkey fur is soft, comfortable and easy to slip on when your running out the door on a cool day through some of the coldest days. The breast pocket is nice for hiding a cellphone of mp3 player while the kneck line keeps the wind off your kneck. And did I mention it's soft! I'm not sure if monkey's are that soft, but this sure is. Friends will have a hard time resisting a pet as you walk by!
"Worth 16,000 Pennies" 12/20/12
Expensive Fleece? Yes please. I never skimp when it comes to fleece. This jacket might seem pricey but if is probably the favorite fleece I own. I own it currently in 4 different colors. I dig all of them. Fits true to size. Mine is a medium. I'm of average size and build for a woman. The jacket isn't long, but isn't to short, and I don't think length varies from size to size in the waist. The sleeves are roomy and never too tight in the upper arms. I just love this jacket and all it's zippers. The lack of hood is awesome too, for gals with longer hair. Just get yourself one already!Pluses: Warm, Variety of Colors, Hoodless, Zip Pockets, Stylish and Soft.Minuses: None.
"Great product, better price!" 11/30/12
Fell in love with this monkey jacket, but didn't want to pay the full $160 to mountain hardware. Searched online and found it at moosejaw.com for $121!!! Awesome deal, free shipping, arrived in one week's time. Couldn't ask for better service. Jacket is true fitting to size, super soft, and warm and cozy!
"This jacket = the best" 09/29/12
I just got my Mountain Hardware jacket yesterday and I'm already in love with it! It is such a warm jacket that I'm ready for winter to come right now. It is so soft that I don't know why I got any other jacket before (totally beats the northface denali by a long shot in warmth). After my mom tried it on she wanted mine and tried to take it but no worries I bought her one so I can keep mine. I think this a great in between jacket, the cuffs of the jacket don't pinch your wrists and it will keep you warm in any kind of winter weather.
"So soft, comfortable and functional" 05/24/12
I love this jacket. It has kept me comfy and warm under countless conditions. It isn't too bulky, and the fleece isn't motion-restrictive at all, making it great for any outdoor activity. It works great on its own or as an extra layer under a puffy down or shell. And even after lots of dirt and washes, it still looks pretty darn good!
"Super Duper" 03/05/12
Man oh man. What a lovely piece of attire. Nice and warm, super soft, and great fit. Hits at a good place on the hip and stretchy cuffs to keep your arms warm. I've washed mine a few times, and it just gets softer! Heads up: that this jacket has no wind resistance whatsoever.
"LOVE IT" 02/06/12
I bought this jacket not too long ago and absolutely love it. I also have an Osito jacket by The North Face but this Mountain Hardware fleece is so much more comfortable. What makes it so great? It is form fitting for one. I usually wear size small being 5'5 and 115lbs and the Mountain Hardware jacket fits better than my North Face. I can wear a sweatshirt under both jackets but the Mountain Hardware jacket doesn't look as bulgy. My North Face also has elastic around the wrists and waist which always annoys me and my Mountain Hardware jacket does not. Overall I would definitely recommend it over any North Face jacket!
"Unbeatable Fleece" 02/06/12
These are the best fleece ever made. I own five of them and will continue to purchase them for my family as well. However, my son does not like the look of them on men at all. My only complaint is that the jacket mats where my purse or seat belt rests. I particularly enjoy the stretch at the hips and cuffs which prevents air from getting inside. The sizing is right on and it is really a warm fleece.
