The fleece lining makes these pants really warm and the outer layer is fairly windproof. They're very comfortable and hiking in 23 degree weather they kept me plenty warm. Hiked through a lot of mud and they washed up nicely. The fleece lining is sewn together with the outer fabric at the hem which is a nice feature (although I had to have them shortened so paid extra for that). The drawstring is kind of goofy as it ties just right of center and I wish they had more pockets. All in all I give them a 9/10 and would certainly buy them again.
