"Lightweight & Warm, but Poor Color Choices" 12/14/11
This jacket is very warm and lightweight- good for added warmth when weight is an issue. However, I wasn't impressed wiht the color selection. I got the hot rod red thinking it would be more of a rich burgundy/wine color and it looked almost pumpkin orange/red. I just didn't care for the color at all. Also, I am usually a small/extra small and the small I got seemed rather large on me. However, maybe these puff jackets are supposed to fit a little looser so you can have a layer or two on underneath.
"Comfortable fit, but not in love." 12/12/11
I opened the box and was a little disappointed. I ordered the jacket in Dewberry which looks like a shade of purple on the site, but in person it's pink. The color doesn't look good on me. When trying it on (I figured if I liked the fit and feel I would return it and get a new color.) The fit was a little roomier than I expected, the fabric next to the zipper snagged on the way up, and down, and the pockets felt very flimsy. I lost the North Face Summit Series jacket I had last year which was a similar style and I loved. The quality felt much more durable. Oh well, I thought I would try something new, but I think I'm heading back to The North Face.
"Best Jacket for warmth." 09/21/11
If you are looking for the best jacket...anything that is Mountain Hardwear should be it! Wears just like iron but feels like marshmallow when you have it on. Not bulky or binding...just right! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine :>)=
