"Extremely soft, comfortable, and cozy, but the looks..." 08/31/10
I'm a 25 yr old female and weigh about 130 pounds and am 5ft 5. I ordered a medium in this and it fit pretty well with enough room for a long sleeve underneath. I bought it for a work, but it turned out looking a little too much like a fur coat for me. I ended up buying a monkey woman jacket instead which looks a bit tamer. The monkey is also softer inside, but doesn't have the wind protection like this one. It's definately a beautiful coat, just not my style.

Moosejaw rules - I ordered this jacket on Thursday afternoon and it arrived on Friday - way to get the orders out FAST. Anyway this jacket is ooo soft - I just love to touch it. I've been wanting a Mountain Hardwear jacket for awhile and this one is just great!!

I'm 5'4", 130lbs and first ordered the red in sm. It was beautiful, but too tight, so I ordered the blue in a med. It's a bit lighter/silvier than in the picture (also, ribbed material is blue, not black), but it fit great... I just didnt like the color. Then I started shopping around and found someone who had the '10 MH Mynx on sale, and I ended up getting that one. Differences: '09's collar is soft, where '10 is ribbed material, '09 has ribbed/bunched sleeves,'10 has open sleeves with hidden bunched sleeves to hold warmth, + 09 has fuzzy, outer zipper-hider, where 10 displays zipper and has inner liner to keep out wind. same everything else though, but '10 is a little more flattering.

So soft, so cozy... it really does feel like getting hugged. No one can resist petting me when I have this incredible jacket on. Fits great, too - I'm 5'6", 115lbs and the XS was perfect. I never want to take it off (of course I will, but only to wash it). Think I'll bring it to my Brewery Ommengang adventure this weekend - I'll shoot a pic wearing it, along with my Moosejaw flag :)

Love the soft feel of the material. It is heavier than some similar brands, but in SC you don't need a BIG coat, but if it was too light weight it may not be warm enough. This one is just right.. . perfect!!! Love it, especially the color, it's all about my SC Gamecocks!
"Cute fabric but not so great fit" 02/27/09
I loved the fabric but the fit was problematic. The sleeves were too long for a small. The small was very narrow in the hips but bulky in the midsection. I think that the jacket might work for someone taller but I have a short torso and this jacket just didn't look cute on. I tried both a size small which I normally wear and a medium but neither worked for me.

Love, love, love this coat. It's fuzzy, keeps me warm, and I get compliments when I wear it. People can't keep their hands off of me...which can be good and bad. If they made this into a Snuggie, I'd buy one.

So, I don't actually own this jacket....it was shipped to me by mistake when I ordered another Mountain Hardware jacket. I did try it on when I opened the package and thought it was the softest jacket I'd ever worn. It felt so cozy that I just wanted to curl up with it in front of a fireplace. However, since I had to exchange it for the jacket I really wanted I had to take it back off and hope that the Monkey Woman jacket will be just as nice.
