"Never Again" 07/07/11
It calls itself a 45 degree bag but the comfort level is actually 50-55 and the extreme is around 43. It's flimsy after it loses the little bit of loft it had to begin with. Sure it packs small and is comfy to the touch but the bag should have been advertised as a 50, or higher, degree bag. If it drops down to 45 degrees and this is all you have then you better plan on sleeping in the tent with all your clothes on and maybe even a space blanket by your side. It's cheap in price and also in quality.
"Ultralamina is the best ever" 04/11/11
I love Ultralamina bags, they are the absolute best alternative to down. Down is very useful stuff, but if you're hiking for more than a couple days and you're in wet weather, you'll more than likely get it wet. And for all you vegetarians/vegans/nice people out there, down is harsh. Consider that guilt trip. So given your synthetic options, this stuff is the best I've seen. I own this and the Ultralamina 15. I got that one first, and was so impressed that I didn't second-guess my decision to buy this one as a replacement for an old summer bag. It packs soooo small, and is comparable in weight to down. It's comfy, lofts well, and you don't have to stress about moisture.
"Great summer bag that packs small." 03/30/11
When the weather gets warm, this is the bag that goes on almost every trip. It's light and compresses to be a little bigger than a softball. I love using the double zippers as arm holes to make breakfast without leaving the tent.
"Good bag for warm temperatures" 03/24/11
I've used this bag camping in southern Florida, from the Dry Tortugas southwest of Key West to the middle of Florida, and it does exactly what I bought it to do. It packs small. It can get wet from the random rain storms down here and the humidity and still keep you warm when the temperatures drop at night. Most importantly, it's not too hot when the temperatures don't drop at night. Overall, a good summer/warm weather bag.
"Light, packs small, and super soft" 09/29/10
I have no complaints, Mountain Hardware did a good job with this one. There is plenty of room to wiggle your toes, the material is very soft and cuddly, it is highly compressible and can fit anywhere once in its stuff sack, and it is not a burden to bare on your back. I highly recommend this bag for 40 degrees and up...below 40 I've found that it makes for a chilly chilly night! If you're looking for a light, highly compressible, and super soft bag for the more mild temperature range I highly recommend the UltraLamina 45!
"This is my go-to bag for mid spring to early fall." 09/26/10
This bag has great loft for it's light weight and small compressed size. It is just warm enough for climbing trips in Arkansas. I love the small pocket by the hood. It's great for keeping my cell phone as an alarm where i can hear/find it in the morning. The double zippers are great for making coffee without really getting out of bed. The only problem I've had so far was a little trouble getting zipped in from the inside.
"compresses to a great small size yet diff zipper than pictured" 06/07/07
Definantly will keep you warm in at least 40 degree weather! is amazingly compressable and can be packed to the size of just bigger than a nalgene bottle. It's perfect... but the Ultralamina that you will be recieving in the mail differs a little from the one that is pictured. It actually is not a full zip but instead has two half zips on the sides, yet is still worth getting.
