The Mountain Hardwear Trango 4 Person Tent is an alpine tent for four person expeditions. The Trango 4 is a double wall structure, for versatile pitching options and additional ventilation in harsh conditions. The main tent is structured by four Paleria DAC Featherlight NSL poles, while the fifth pole is used for maximizing space in the larger of the two vestibules. The two doors offer easy options for exit and entry with multiple occupants, while packs and boots can be stored in the vestibules. The optional footprint can be used with the fly and poles for a superlight pitch option. Home sweet home, on a mountain.

It survived Denali, and would probably do it againWe took the 4 man on Denali for our team of 3, and it was the perfect. Dividing it between three people you don't notice the weight so much, and having the extra room at the end of the day was a dream! Several nights we shared walls with a team of two in an EV 2, and it was laughable! Those guys were SO uncomfortable spooning each other, while we had room to play cards and spread clothes out to dry. ,,,,Gave three stars because all my poles are slightly bent now. We never got winds more than 35, and the tent did well, but the poles used to be straight. Have heard from guides that use trangos that older poles were much stronger.

Heavy duty back country winter/expedition tentBought this tent to take up to Denali this summer. Have been on a few winter camping trips with it already and love the durability and ease of use. Next to the trango 3.1, there are a few things that need updated on the inside of the tent. The 3.1 has more storage near the top which would be a nice feature in this tent. Clips are super easy to use with gloves on. It could benefit from using one large stow away pack instead of having two medium baggy ones that dont compress the tent down when it is stuffed. I cant wait to set it up on Denali!
