I took this tent out for 45-days backpacking in the Alaskan Tundra. We also brought an older Trango 4 man tent that had seen better days. The differences were noticeable. First of all this tent is really water proof and it can take a beating. It is warm when needed, but can stay cool on hotter days. The double vestibules are awesome for shoe storage and what not. There are a lot of pockets so if you are someone like me who likes a place to put your book or head lamp its great. You can even run a little clothes line inside and dry your socks if you are so inclined or put a camel back in a pocket and have running water. The tent is great and fits 3 comfortably. I'm pretty tall and there was still space above my head and bellow my feet which was great for comfort.

This tent is amazing. I bought this tent for great trips (i.e. Denali) on the horizon but am still in the training mode for said trips. I couldn't be happier with my Trango. The first night we took it out in a thunderstorm. The wind howled and the rain came down but my wife and I were dry and secure in our Trango. I got the 3.1 version to have room for storage on backpacking trips and that has worked out nicely. The huge vestibule is also a plus. For a tent that does so well in the cold it is surprisingly pleasant in the summer as well. We've had it out in June down here in the southeast and have been comfortable. Awesome tent and I can't wait to take it up Denali!
