"Solid pack, beefy suspension, good price, you won's regret buying it!" 10/20/11
First off, great pack. Bought it as a large daypack-weekend pack for semi-technical ascents. Now it is my standard backpacking pack. The 420 and 210 denier cordura is extremely tough, and has handled being dropped, kicked, scuffed, and being attacked by a rabid zebra. 'Nough said. The pack itself is a 'little' heavy, by my standards, but I believe this to be absolutely worth it when you load it up and feel the suspension. It can handle 30-35 pounds easy. Love the pocket placements. The ski loops will also fit a nalgene, if you tactically carabiner it on as insurance. That is all.
"solid pack" 05/27/11
havent used it a ton yet (most so far was a week long hike) but it is definately a solid pack. plenty of pockets, the inside is roomy, and the material is sturdy. i i love the side zipper to access the big pocket without having to open the top. the worst part of this pack is that there isnt a water bottle hole on the side, but understandable since its a climbing pack. great mid-sized pack that sits on your back pretty much un-noticably..go for it!
"Not your average $135 pack" 12/04/10
If your looking for a rock solid pack with plenty of random pockets look no further than the Trad pack. Very comfortable suspension, tight fitting pack that doesn't move around when your running away from the smokey the bear rangers determined to ruin your day. One thing I wish it had were loops on the bottom for a sleeping pad, but the compression loops on the side can take care of that situation. Durable as all heck... Plus ski loops if you hike with your skis!! (I don't do that so I can't say how well they work) And side access tops off a great pack.
"This pack is great!" 05/09/10
Excellent pack from Mountain Hardwear. I own two other packs from them, and wanted a smaller pack for shorter trips. This pack has stash pockets everywhere, and seems to be very well thought out for accessing the main compartment with a side zip without having to open the top and loosen the cinch cords. Very comfortable and breathable on your back. Hard to beat for the price, and as usual, I found it cheaper at Moosejaw than anywhere else! Go get one already!
