Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Medium Warmth Glove Just got these as a promo for buying the Monkey Man jacket, so I figure I would compare them to the new North Face E-tip gloves which I just bought. They both work really well for using my iPhone. They are both made of a stretch fleece material. These are noticeably thicker then the TNF e-tip, and this makes them warmer as well. They also have real beefy stitching all around and soft thick fleece cuffs. The stitching is well placed so it doesn't affect dexterity. Wore them in 10 degree F weather around town and had to put my hands in my pockets only when it got real windy. The real difference is the fit. I am a medium in most gloves, and these mediums fit well. However, the fingers are shorter and the palm is wider than the TNF. I have long fingers so the TNF fit me perfectly, but these fit as well as most winter gloves.,,,,If I had to spend money on just one, I would have a hard time deciding.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Fit Fuzzy Fingers I had lost my first pair of stimulus gloves that I purchased last year. They were amazing, aside from the fact that when they got damp they would get all fuzzy at the seams like grover hands. I had high hopes when I purchased a new pair this year - from the pics it looked as though Mountain Hardwear may have addressed this issue with some upgrades to the fabric. To my disappointment the fit was much looser and disproportionate this time around. Unless you have skinny fingers and a huge thumb you'll most likely be out of luck. Gets a little clumsy with an inch of flappy on the opposable part of your hand. I wish I had returned them before washing to see if they'd shrink a little and balance out (wishful thinking). And alas, the other day I saw the first wisps of fuzzy fingers returning. Maybe i'm particular, I'm sure you'll be fine. It was mostly a matter of expectation. I'm just disappointed to see the product go downhill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These gloves have been a great addition to my winter gear, would definitely buy again. It is hard enough to find a decent glove that fits well and won't drain the bank, but these do a great job of it and much more. Gloves are always a hard buy for me. My hands are pretty average I suppose but I would still end up with baggy palm space or numbingly tight fingers with many other gloves. These have proved to be warm and comfortable. The fit isn't perfect but its pretty forgiving. My girlfriend borrowed them and while they were snug on her hand (I'm a small, she would be a medium) they weren't at all restricting. The smartphone feature functions flawlessly and has been amazing on those 3 degree mornings when I need to use my GPS and still want to feel my fingertips. My nose tip typing skill had really advanced, but I was pretty glad to retire that ability and start using my hands again. Bottom line, these are comfortable, well constructed, functional gloves, that deliver on form and function, AND they look pretty decent too. I would definitely buy them again.
