"Amazing light weight pack" 01/29/12

The scrambler 30 is a great light weight backpack. It's the perfect size for a summit pack or a minimalist overnight pack, and only weight barely one pound when empty. The single large compartment allows for packing as much gear as possible without having to navigate extra flaps or sections or pouches. There is a small clip for attaching a hydration bladder inside, and nice compression straps on the outside that double as attachment points for extra gear if needed. The bottle opener that comes with the pack is a cool bonus. The shoulder straps are wide enough, but padded a thin, but this pack should not weigh so much anyways when full. Overall, a great pack that has many uses,

"Best small pack out there" 11/09/11

Have had this model and the old model, the older one has its advantages but the new model is far more burly and just as packable. Took this thing up the Grand Teton and it stored so much gear AND took a beating and looks good as new....highly recommend this pack.

"Great backpack for overnight use" 04/20/11

This is an awesome pack for light and consolidated use. A smaller pack yet not TOO small. Very lightweight and the material is pretty durable. The straps on the bag make it as small or large as necessary. This bag is great for overnight biking trips as well. One downside to this pack is a lack of a water bag sleeve. On the inside of the bag there is a clip to hang a bag but no pouch.
