MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR PACK FIT GUIDE and INFO

• Determine the correct pack size by measuring from the top of your hip shelf to the C7 vertebrae, which is the protruding bump at the base of the neck.

• If you think you are between pack sizes, consider how and when you will be using the pack. For example, if you will be using the pack primarily in the winter, when more and bulkier clothing is required, you may opt to size up.

• You can find Torso Range and other size information in the description FEATURES or SPECIFICATIONS for each Mountain Hardwear pack. You can also refer to the size guide below to compare the current season packs by category.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! If you like early trout fishing, hunting season, even winter trapping, do not pass this up. Besides the zipper(get snagged a lot) this sleeping bag is beyond perfect. I can put it in a compression sack and it literally takes up the space of one sweatshirt. (just don't store it in the compression sack) Warmth! Yes it is very warm and in the hot summer I use it as a sleeping pad. It has an amazing headrest(pillow) so more room in your pack! I have never once been cold, even sleeping in a tent on a ice fishing expedition in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is the one you have been waiting for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra Warm, Light, and Packable This is the first down bag I have ever used so I decided to put it to the test. Against my wife's wishes, I set this guy up on my porch (atop a thermarest neo) inside a thin 3 season tent when temps in Ohio were around 7 degrees F. Slept wonderfully.,,,,Later in the week, I turned the heat off in the house and climbed into the bag to see how it would handle 'warmer' weather. If you are planning on using this for anything over say 35 degrees F, plan on unzipping at least part way... or sleeping naked :) as it gets very toasty.,,,,The only down side is.... now my wife thinks I'm an obsessive nut!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, Warm, and Packable After a 10 day backcountry trip in the rockies and was very pleased. Most nights the temps dipped to well below 0 deg F and I was still warm enough without any additional layering (boxers only) The bag packs down nice and small and weighs next to nothing. The included compression sack (although it has no compression straps) packs the bag down small enough that it will do for now and does have coating on the fabric to help keep out water. All the pulls for cinching down the hood and collar are user friendly, the only thing that requires some finesse is the zipper. There is not much of a guard behind it to prevent snags so dont go for the full unzip when your half awake bc it will snag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems to be an amazing sleeping bag! When sleeping bag shopping where there is a big line of sleeping bags, this one always seems to stand out to me. The reason why is the amazing loft that it has. It initially looks as if it might be heavy because it puffs out so much, but that is definitely not the case. As others have mentioned, the zipper may snag at times but so far it isn't a major problem. The fabric is very light but honestly I have not had the bag long enough to know if it will have a problem with durability...I sure hope not!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warm bag. Terrible, terrible zipper. Good: This is one of the few true 0° bags you can find for the price. The hood is well-shaped, the footbox is decently roomy, and the pocket is a nice touch. Bad: this bag has THE WORST ZIPPER of any of the bags I've used (Marmot, Montbell, WM). It hangs up every time, every three inches. I am not claustrophobic, and this was the first time I was seriously worried about not being able to get out of a bag; if the zipper sticks next to your face in an emergency situation, you're hosed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm'n Light Super warm bag especially for how light it is. The cut is pretty narrow so I had to get used to it a bit. The zipper is also short ,pretty much half length, I don't find that problem either. It compresses super small. I would Buy again and again. The small sack it comes with is pretty small but you can get it into a smaller compression sack. It repels light moisture, but still take a bivy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag I love this bag. It keeps you warm even right around the 0 degree mark. It is remarkably lightweight and breathable. I have used it in the summer and found that as long as you unzip it, it works perfectly fine and isn't too hot. I have never had trouble with the zipper.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good This is the only MHW sleeping bag I ever bought. I would say a little disappointed. It has been ripped off when the first time when I was packing it.
