Body Fit - A body-hugging fit for aerobic activities. Ideal for running, skate skiing and next-to-skin layering.

Active Fit - A trim fit, and just loose enough for layering and freedom of movement. Ideal for backcountry skiing, climbing, mountaineering, running, and training.

Standard Fit - A happy medium fit that is not too tight, and not too loose. Standard fitting apparel will fit over base and mid-layers without restricting movement. Ideal for backpacking, hiking, travel, work, and casual wear.

Relaxed Fit - A roomier and more progressive fit, Mountain Hardwear relaxed styles might have a longer length than a standard fit, and a softer drape. Ideal for backpacking, hiking, skiing, and good old fashioned hanging out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from $500? no way. $300... a solid maybe. I really wanted to love this jacket. I've been really happy with the MH quality in general for most things. This jacket is incredibly durable, and has never once left me soaked from the elements. But it is a bit bulky (what do you expect from a 70D jacket). The pit zips work well to dump heat and dry Q Elite works really well. As far as fit, for an athletic build, my 5'7", 40" chest, 30" waist fits perfect in the medium. The zips are solid and have never let water in. The jacket moves well with me. That being said, one huge downfall for me was that I was spoiled after trying on an Arcteryx Alpha FL jacket simply because of the hood. I cannot seem to get the Victorio to fit as well with side to side/ up to down head movement (losing some vision) as the FL. Perhaps it is the heavier denier material. Perhaps Arcteryx simply has the hood dialed in. All in all, if you can find this on discount, it's a nice jacket but I feel there are better for the money out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket When The Weather Gets BAD! Got the jacket a week ago so had to break it in this weekend. The weather was 37 f and raining all day. Went hiking and repelling so had a pack on for a 3 hour hike in repelled for 2 hours and hiked out. I was completely dry and the jacket breathed so well. Very nice jacket.
