"Great for everywhere and every function!" 12/05/10
Last year, I picked up a similar MH softshell pants. It was a bit thicker, has an integrated belt, but not very many pockets. I loved it and wore it everywhere. But then I got these and to my surprise, these actually functions better for everyday use and for anywhere. It's like a hybrid between my earlier pair and a pair of Dockers/khaki. Highly recommended for those who hate to iron Dockers/khaki but want the style, while at the same time wanting the comfort of a softshell.

I absolutely love these! They are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. While exceptionally light weight, they feel like they give you plenty of wind and abrasion protection but still breathe great. They are super stretchy, so they move with you like a second skin, without looking like tights. In fact, they look great. They are not perfectly silent (you do get a bit of swoosh whenever there is fabric-to-fabric contact. Here's a tip: When you wash these, make sure to close all zippers and the Velcro around the snap at the waist so you don't destroy your other synthetic stuff through snagging.
"My favorite trail pants" 06/21/09
A few years ago I bought a pair of Mountain Hardwear Corderilla pants off the clearance rack in Rhode Island. Ever since I have been looking for another pair unsucessfully. They are the toughest and most versatile pants that I have ever had. I just figured out that these are the replacement model. The stretch material can be soiled with mud and all you have to do is wait till it dries and give it a stretch and a snap and "POOF," you have a cloud of dust and a clean pair of pants. And the drawstring at the bottom comes in handy when you're wackin shrubs.
