    "Warm and tough"
              12/10/09
I wanted something to replace my old down jacket. This was a bit costly but I trust the brand and liked the color. Plus it has a hood. It's 2 degrees in Chicago today so it's coming in handy.

"Extremely Warm and Stylish... Highly Recommended"
              12/02/09
Looks really great in person; I have the red one and have gotten many compliments on it. Also keeps you very warm. Just throw on over a t-shirt and you'll be good even if the temp is less than 10 degrees F, and the hood is astonishingly warm and fits really well so that only your face is exposed. Also, extremely packable: the sack that it comes with makes it really easy to fit this in a suitcase with ease. Only complaints: needs more pockets, could use a headphone hole, and it is a little short, at least for me. Great product and would definitely recommend, especially with the price being at least a hundred dollars less than similar offerings by Cloudveil, Patagonia, and Arc'teryx.

"decent jacket, quality control has gone downhill"
              07/02/09
I ordered this jacket about 2 months ago and within 5 minutes of me opening the box and trying it on the plastic retainer on the cinch cord broke on both sides. I ordered another thinking it was a one time thing and the same thing happened after about a week of use. The jacket is extremely warm and does its job but I will be returning this jacket due to the cinch cord retainer snapping.

    "Warm and Durable Down Jacket"
              03/28/09
I bought this jacket to use as a quick throw-on for taking the dogs out in the morning in the freezing VT winters. I just put it on over a t-shirt and I am good to go for as long as it takes to get the dogs tired out. The jacket also seems to be pretty durable, unlike some other brands out there (North Face). The hood is also a great feature that is well worth the extra cash in my book. The fact is that sometimes I am just lazy, and when all I have to do is put this jacket on, rather than finding layers and a hat, to keep me warm from my waist to head, the choice is simple... The sub-zero.

"Great coat for high altitude mountaineering."
              02/19/09
I recently used this coat when summiting Aconcagua. It was warm and comfortable and fit well over my other layers. The coat is true to size and the down filling is well distributed throughout with no cold spots. The high winds I encountered did not penetrate fabric or seams. I would recommend this coat to anyone climbing to 7000 meters. Great coat!

"Best jacket out there for serious high mountain weather. PERIOD!"
              02/16/09
This jacket is amazing. The fit is excellent, my arms are longer than average(I am part ape)and the sleeves are perfect. It is one of the most comfortable wearing jackets as well. Now to the serious stuff...I have used this jacket in horrendous conditions. Middle of the winter atop Mt. Shasta with wind and snow blowing all over me. This jacket kept me warm, dry, and feeling safe. The waterproof conduit shell works great and the detachable hood is a nice feature. When heading high, I wouldn't trade it for any other. You wont be disapointed. So stop reading and buy it!

    "Coolest Jacket in the Planet...EVER!"
              12/08/08
Straight out of the bag, this jacket was awesome. Even though I got it take to Mt. Rainier next June, I find myself wearing around Georgia, which is completely unnecessary. It's still in the 40's here but the jacket is so damn cool. It's like I'm hardcore by wearing it, even though the weather isn't hardcore. I am so pumped about heading to Washington with it, I may not even pack pants or anything else...that's how sweet it is. And if you don't have one, you are the punch line to every joke and you are the friend that no one really wants to be around.

"Great Jacket...would recommend to any who is serious about staying warm!"
              11/10/08
I use this jacket in very cold weather in the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges in Utah. Weather gets very cold and windy and this jacket did not let me down. I look forward to climbing Rainier this spring in my Sub Zero!

I love my Sub Zero Jacket, especially the ability to zip off the hood! This is a jacket that I plan to wear on my climb of Kilimanjaro but it'll also be perfect around town here in Durango during out cold winter months. Great multi-purpost jacket. Thanks!

"It will keep you toasty when the weather wont"
              05/02/08
Love this jacket. Any time the temps drop you stay toasty. It packs pretty small. The hood is great to hold in heat. Water resistance is key. I havent blown out any feathers. The size feels right. It fits well with a harness. It is the first time that i have liked wearing a puffy jacket and felt comfortable feeling like a marshmallow man

    "Highly recommended"

This Parka is definately a great buy. It stood up to the rediculous cold and winds of mount washington. Great to own if you enjoy spending time in the mountains in the cold. Very well made but i am always afraid that i will pierce the shell of the parka and down will fly everywhere. Would be nice if it was made from a stronger material but works fine.
