"ARMOR FOR BACKCONTRY!!!" 02/09/12
Light, Tough, and lives up to its name 100 percent!! Exceptional quality and stitching! I'm 5'9" and 135 lbs and i ordered a medium! i wear my MH monkey light jacket under it when i ski (some days are -5to10 degrees outside plus a wind chill and that is all i need to stay warm)!! was in a wind storm with about 45-60 mph winds in the rocky mountains and felt no wind, warm and able to breathe extremely well !! 100 percent waterproof & windproof thanks to the new DRY-Q ELITE! no restrictions in the arms which allows you to move your entire upper body without the coat bunching up or exposing other parts of the body to the elements!! BEST SKI COAT EVER!!!

"POOR DESIGN - NOT HELMET COMPATIBLE!!" 01/26/12
This "ski jacket" it NOT helmet compatible. Also, the collar sucks, and bunches up and won't cover your chin. Additionally, I had a zipper pull get caught and rip a 2 inch hole a the bottom of one of the lower pockets. I called MH to see about a replacement and their comments were. "we won't replace it just because it's not helmet compatible", and "you can send it in to be repaired for a nominal charge". So even after getting the jacket for half price via pro deal, I still feel ripped off.
"Great coat" 01/21/12
Coat feels great. Somewhat thin but with a layer underneath it is great. Fits nicely but slightly on the smaller side. There are numerous pockets and the zippers are great on all of them. The extra large pit zips provide a nice venting as well. I highly recommend this coat.
"It is Money well Spent! for something that does exactly what it says it does!" 12/29/11
I ordered the "snowtastic" jacket and i did my reviews of everything out there, I wasn't gonna spend 450 dollars and not read up on it. Hands down waterproof/breathable. So well, I could blow the water beads off my sleeves. "it's a soft shell" you layer what you want under it to keep you warm? Dress appropiately under it. You can always layer up or down.. Very nice jacket

"The name of the jacket is Snowtastic. Not so much" 12/01/11
Tonight it is 30 degrees outside clear night with a slight breeze no snow or rain. I was freezing, its the first night that i was able to wear my new jacket and thought i would be warm and snug in my mountain hardware jacket. When it first came in the mail the first thing i noticed was how thin it was i was expecting a snow worthy jacket not a running shell but that's more likely to fit how it feels is its a $450 running jacket. I ordered black, in the picture it does not properly describe just how fluorescent the florescent yellow zippers are i sincerely tried to ignore them but what it comes down to it i dont like this as a coat maybe a fall jacket.
"The best soft shell jacket I've laid hands on." 10/13/11
Hands down the best soft-shell I've owned. It has all the benefits of a hardshell (waterproof), with all the benefits of a soft-shell (breathability in a semi stretch ergonomic fabric). The quality is top notch. There are plenty of stash pockets and the pit zips are a must have. It really reminds me of a hard-shell without the feeling of wearing a well designed tarp. The inside has a soft lining. There is plenty of torso length for full coverage and a well designed removable powder skirt. I'm 5'11 and 180 lbs and a large is a great fit, but by no means bulky. If you are in between sizes, I would go with the larger option.
