"Just Ok if you wear glasses--unique design-very versitle" 01/31/12

Material and workmanship are very good. However does not fit snugly across the the top of my head. But I always wear a mad bomber hat over it so no big deal. The material, although warm, is very thin and has very comfortable flat seams. This makes it easy to wear under a hat. Unique flexible design.I wear glasses and have several balaclavas that are so tight they actually bend my glass bows. Not so with this balaclava. Very versatile can cover from nose to under chin by just placing bottom section where you want it comfortably. Now my major negative is that I can not wear the lower portion over my nose as it instantly fogs up my glasses so if I want to see have to wear under nose.

"Super warm and comfortable" 01/21/12

My husband wore this outside to snowblow the driveway and it kept him super warm yet was breathable. Fits very nicely and matches to the Mountain Hardware coat extremely well. Would highly recommend this to anyone the has to be out in the cold for an extended period of time.

"Wow, the perfect balaclava." 11/18/10

I think this is the best balaclava out there. What puts this balaclava above any other I've tried is the unique "hinged" design, which allows the face flap to be worn at any position in complete comfort. The usual balaclava (just a single piece of fabric with a face hole in it) works OK for me, but they never seem perfectly comfortable or functional in all possible positions. This one sort of folds down when you wear it all the way open, and that makes all the difference for me.Also, I like the fabric, and the red one is pretty spiffy!
